Most of my precious day was spent playing Secret of the Solstice. I find myself playing that game more often because I can easily alternate between chatting and hunting.

I spend the first half of my playing time selling things and advertising my store. While I’m in the middle of a chat, I notice somebody PMing me. Some guy is spamming me with, “cool GIV ME BAK MY MONEY.” I’m like, wth and I tell him, “I don’t have your money.” He then explains to me that he bought an item from my store but he wants his money back because he found the same item but cheaper in another. And I was supposed to give him back his money because I was cheating and scamming. Scr3w that! It was a legit sale! It not my fault he didn’t check out all of the shops first. Since I refused he continues spamming me and calling me a n00b and a scammer. I get tired of him and switch characters. read more

Today was such a crappy day. In all aspects.

My mother forced me to go visit my grandmother today. She’s in the hospital so she told me that she would want to see me. I didn’t want to go because 1) the rest of my family are annoying; 2) she doesn’t care if I come; and 3) I would have preferred to play games! To top it off, I had to get a ride from my elitist cousin. She criticizes my hair, my clothes, and my lifestyle. I had to hear it for almost the entire ride. Then when I get to the hospital, I go to greet my grandmother says to me, “What did you come here for?” Man, was I pissed. My other cousins were there. One of them kept encouraging me to come visit her one day but I know that means “babysit my kids.” She always wants someone to watch her kids. I don’t blame her though because I wouldn’t trust them by their selves either. At least, not the boys. Anyway, we wait for the surgeon to get there and my grandmother’s upset that my mother is making all of the decisions regarding her treatment. She wants her precious grandson to do it. I wouldn’t even trust that guy with my cat. The guy always runs to his wife to make the decisions for him anyway. I’m digressing… We wait there from around 12 to 6 and the surgeon never showed up. I spent all day playing Secret of Solstice (and watching anime >.&gt.

I finally got my class change. Turns out 16 was the level to do the class changes. Yey. I looked through the forums and found the name of the guy who does the change. I chose warrior. Then I made a new character. XD I got through it well enough. Though I spent more time leveling than questing. I don’t like how the English is kind of off during the descriptions. It’s not as bad as Perfect World but still… I think I’ll have to keep a pen and paper nearby when I play because it’s not very convenient. Though I don’t think I’ll play SoS for much longer. I play it because it’s easy to log on to and it’s not a full screen game. Unfortunately, the fact that this game is a little bit off (I can’t think of a better word) that I don’t really get any fulfillment from it. I’ll probably make characters in all 4 or 5 classes (warrior, magician, priest, thief, and neophyte?) and if I still can’t find the right class, I’m deleting it from my puter. read more

I randomly downloaded some game advertised on Gaia called Secret of the Solstice. It looks very FFT-ish so I tried it out. Right now I’m on the fence about this game. I read a lot of good things about this game. It seems very interesting. But then again, it was on THEIR site where I read about the game. >.< This game’s system is different from other MMORPGs. First off, you’ start off in a newbie town as a newbie class (Xigbar or something like that…let’s just call it Beginner) and you’re not allowed to leave until you’re level 10. So how do you get to level 10 if you’re stuck in a town? Quests! You do 10 newbie quests and each quest levels you up. I thought, “Ok, I’m getting free levels. That’s fine.” I didn’t mind because I thought I would be able to change my class once I got up to level 10. Wrong. They send you out into the world and that’s that. I was all, “what happened to my class change? D:<” I tried to ask some people about it but nobody had any answers. Even the people who were different classes. -_- read more

Today I decided that I would casually train and get exp little by little. When I logged in, I noticed that the new patch came with some small changes (I just downloaded it yesterday). There are hearts by everyone’s names in their profile. I’m guessing its for a Valentine’s day event of some kind. I also noticed that the 1,000 arrow limit for one slot has been doubled! I’m actually very happy about this because arrows take up a lot of space. I don’t normally have to buy much but it’s annoying to have like 5 or 6 slots of arrows and you want to pick something up. I bought over 8,000 arrows today and I saved so much space. =))))) read more

After weeks of inactivity, I finally logged on to MS. I was delighted to find out that many of the n00bs are gone. I guess the people who were there during the holidays either are in school or have lost interest in Maple. No matter what the reason, it’s better for me. read more

Even though this is mostly going to be about PerfectWorld, I put this in MapleStory because they don’t have the option and I will be talking about MS here.

Yesterday was the first time I really started to seriously play PW. I am starting to get the hang of the right-click camera and everything. So I told my friend a little about it and he told me that he was starting too. Normally, I don’t really like playing with other people (Yeah, I know the point of an MMO is to play with others but I’m kinda shy and anti-social) but I decided I would help him start up. First off, he took forever to sign up and stuff. It was perfectly understandable except that every few minutes he would tell me: “I’ll be on in ## minutes,” “I’m coming on,” “I’m on.” So, I’m like, “What’s your character name?” He’s like, “Oh, I didn’t pick one yet.” -.- read more

My day was pretty crazy. It took me 3 or 4 times to get into Maple. When I finally did, it was double exp time! I saw that most of the servers were really crowded. Scania was at the max! Good thing for me, Windia still had space.

I was already in Ant Tunnel, Evil Eye Nest. There were a lot of people passing by. I stayed in Nest 1 and most people passed by without killing anything. Some people passed and killed things that weren’t in my area. One idiot sin kills every single thing in the map and then leaves. I ignore him and continue going on. After awhile I start to have difficultly navigating so I go to Evil Eye Nest II. He’s there. I pass by him and I start hunting evil eyes. He starts to follow me and KS me like crazy. I like to take the benefit of the doubt so I move around the map, from top to bottom and he follows me. After awhile I get sick of it and I defame him and CC. He PMs me and tells me that defames don’t hurt him (if it didn’t hurt him why did he bother PMing me? >.&gt and to “enjoy trying to train for the next few weeks.” I tell him to learn how to share a map. We get into a small argument about KSing in which he accuses me of KSing him because according to him he only killed the top level of my map and then I came into his map and KSed him. He even called me a liar. I’m like, Whatever I don’t defame for no reason. read more

Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcome. It was the warmest welcome I received in….like ever. Haha.

Today was a pretty good day. Even though I never got all of the things on my agenda done (leveling, going to ant tunnel, finishing that stupid Dr. Betty quest), I managed to do a lot. I helped a few people train. I usually refuse but today I felt like being nice. First I helped a guy get 50 boars teeth and level up. He was only 2 levels behind me and a sin so he could have done it himself but I guess he didn’t want to be alone. We got lucky because The Land of the Wild Boar looked like HHG on a normal day. He got his teeth and leveled. I planned to go with him to Ant Tunnel but he DC’ed and never came back. o.o He was really nice too. It makes my day to meet nice Maplers. After he left, I managed to buy Weighted Earrings for the Dr. Betty quest from someone for 20k. I’m glad I checked BasilMarket because I would have asked for a lot higher. read more
