If you would have taken the time to check the forums, you’d see that a certain MMOTer decided that maybe he’d bake his own cake instead of trying to mooch some off other cakes.
Well, I had gotten the news a few days ago when I logged on to SimpleMS, the Maple Story private server I’d been playing on for awhile. It came innocuously, and from one of my friends:
“Welcome to the end.”
Turns out that apparently the server had been sent a cease and desist letter, and would therefore be shutting down- and they were holding a large get-together to ‘end it right,’ or something.
Well… That sort of thing usually just depresses me, so I left and talked very angrily about it for awhile, before getting an invite to join a second private server.
I’ve actually tried to download Maple Story three times so far this year. I think I’m either just not meant to play this game, or I’m going about this the wrong way… but…
It has killed my keyboard.
Every time I try downloading this good for nothing game, it god damn kills the keyboard! First sign comes when the keyboard becomes unresponsive. I then get on my knees, disappear into a jumble of cables, and place the cord into a different outlet.
Heyyo. Yeah, its me. I havent blogged in an insane amount of time so I guess I might as well. As the cliched line goes, A lot has happened since I last blogged. And its so true. Cept for the fact that I still play in Scania, Global Maplestory.
I last left off at Christmas, as level 76. And now Im writing again in mid-June, and Im 120. Whoa. Aha. I really dont feel like elaborating much on anything– so I wont. D; I gained many new friends, and lost a few due to server changes and the insane amount of drama that Scania provides gleefully. Despite all the negativity, I still kept with it because I am unable to separate myself from the amazing friends I have. ^^; Cheesay, but true. Cheezy*
Well as everyone definetly already knows this Maple Story is running a new Patch Version 5.6 and well its already been like 21 hours plus?! The problem is only because they keep installing new extensions and add ons.Oh well,what can we do.Just waiting i guess.I read a funny comment on a thread that said a guy had been waiting since 8am this morning.Ugh anyways soon as they finish I’ll be there haha XD.

Darkness filled the sky on the night of July 4, 2070. This was no normal night, this was war. Soldiers loaded their guns, warriors readied their weapons, bowmen loaded their bows, and mages were ready to cast their spells. Everyone was in position and set for war.

Hey, I just started MMOing again because it’s summer. I still play Dragon Raja, but I also started something new. Talisman Online
In Dragon Raja I am a very skilled priest lol. I do alot of damage for a low leveled priest. I made the ultimate build for a priest lol. I’m level 29 and 11 in Dragon Raja and I pked like 50 people and got owned by like 70 guards

Okay so what do you think about OdinMS?
1. Private Servers stole Nexon’s interlectual property. This only means maps and monsters.
2. ITS ILLEGAL!!!
3. OdinMS sent out the soruce to everyone now. So PServers are EVERYWHERE and that means Nexon gets less money. If Maplestory werent here then there wouldnt be OdinMS. (Also note that if Odin shuts down, all the other servers wont get updated anymore and will shut down eventually. Thats why they sued Odin MS.)

I just got done with a Zrun, one of my permaruns on Wednesdays. It kind of sucked, about an hour long run because a lot of attackers didn’t show up.
Few people died during it and we used I think 3 Ressurects during the whole thing. Then I started running out of stars. Mind you I have 24 sets of Ilbis and Triple Throw. Next level I plan on investing a point into Shadow Claw

After I ran out of stars I started tossing money at Zakum lol then shortly after, a party member ran out of MP pots, then HP pots. That left us with 10 remaining people, one was a buyer :p.
