BLOG 15: Slap to the face. EGO BASH!

Ohmygod! Take out the confetti, for it’s Spade’s fifteenth blog!11one1!!thirteennuke!1

Rampages are what I would go on everytime I attempt to go on MapleStory. I would click “play” and the screen would go black, and 10 minutes later I would always end up disconnecting again, having to try again. It’s like there’s a magnet wedged deep into my knuckles, and the other pair is in the monitor. read more

The Story of MS-Victoria Island

From Sleepywood.net. I take no copyright in this, just posting on MMO cause he didn’t put any legal stuff on it.

Long ago, Victoria Island was ruled by the civilization of the Sharenian. The Sharenian ruled from the heavily forested area in the north of Victoria, where Perion is today. This culture lasted for hundreds of years, and created much of the things that make the Maple World what it is today. The Sharenian country really did span the entirety of Victoria. The Stone Golems were created to guard their Temple at the southern edge of the island. Even the Sanctuary, deep in the Ant Tunnel, was once an important proving ground for them. But alas, all great things must come to an end, and the Sharenian met their end under the rule of Sharen III. Sharen III was a wise and compassionate man, who ruled fairly and was liked by all. He craved immortality, however, and sought out the Rubian, a precious jewel that brings youth to anyone who owns it. unfortunately, the Rubian is cursed, and all who possess it meet their end, downtrodden and defeated. Sharen III, being the ruler of the entire nation of Sharenian, inadvertently took it down with him. Perion became the barren, arid wasteland we know it as today.
More recently, the Excavation site and all of the digging going on nearby have not been helping the problem. read more

Tale of Two Heroes | Prologue

Well i decided to remake my basil, mmotales, and profil3 so whatever. I can’t play MS right now so i guess ill start blogging. This prologue is rushed and is more like the boring parts in the beginning of a movie so don’t expect the series to be like this.

Tale of Two Heroes | Prologue

Deep in the Mountains of El Nath, where no evil could reach, was a Sacred Altar, with all the names of the past Heroes, carved into a tombstone made of dark crystal. Around the altar was a barrier, where only the strongest of Adventurers could enter. read more

Aw, I haven’t posted a blog in 5 days, boo. It seems my blogs are coming less and less often, with fewer words each time. In about two years, this will probably be my blog:

Cru’s BBQ aftermath (The 4th Platoon)

I’ve got a stomachache.

Flare regretted eating Cru’s mushrooms. Sure, they were tasty. However, the idiot forgot to remove some of the spores, causing her to have an episode of diarrhea this fine morning.

She heard the door slamming open. Iron clashing against iron, then a grunt. Definitely Andrew.

At first, the smell was bearable. However, it got increasingly smellier and smellier. read more

FEAR Chapter Nine: Antediluvia

Ancient Research Facility
Offshore, West of Ossyria
24th April 2042
0510 Local Time

The fist slammed into the counter for the third time, sending a stationery container tumbling to the ground. Wolf glanced casually at the agitated Jackal who was swearing profoundly at the camera screens. His knuckles raw and stinging from his abuse of the desk, Jackal slammed his size fourteen steel capped boot into it instead. Reclining in the swivel chair, Wolf’s attention drifted as Coyote appeared in the doorway, drawn in by the noise Jackal was making. She threw a quizzical look at Wolf.
“Somebody’s overriding the system. And he can’t figure out where from.” Wolf explained, waving a hand at the console.
“Jackal, violence isn’t helping anyone here.” Coyote admonished, wiggling a finger. Jackal paused and exhaled sharply, glancing vehemently at Coyote. He pushed away from the counter to give the woman a clear view.
“Hey, I majored in geospatial information. Not technology. That’s your field.”
“Well, look anyway.”
Jackal stabbed a finger at a particular screen showing a partial blueprint of the research facility.
“Somebody has bypassed the ISS codes and activated some power generators that I can’t for my life find on the fething schematics! They’ve started some ancient protocols and are in full control of the system. I can’t penetrate through this shield wall that’s been setup. Feth, this can’t be the MSND. They ain’t tech heads.”
Wolf reviewed each screen in turn. Half of them were the results of Jackal’s attempt to hack into the system. A grid of hexagons shifted across the screen, blatanly flashing some error code called: Shield Wall Type 000.
“Maybe it’s those new arrivals.” Wolf suggested, half-heartedly scrolling down one of the blocked screens.
“I have no fething idea what’s going on here. We’re fething locked out of the fething system” Jackal snarled, standing up. “This was supposed to be a pushover. Get the info and GTFO. It doesn’t help that Dog didn’t make it.” He added. read more

Really Pissed Off

(( Luminary is not an option D: But Gunbound is…and both games are from ijji.com…Um…my brother plays Gunbound?))

Today, I decided to go on Luminary. Today I decided I wanted to fight Green Hoppers in Almasha’s Hunting Ground.

Guess what I found?

A level 42 idiot who doesn’t know how to share. Just my luck.

I started to kill the Hoppers hoping to get iron ores and other materials and was doing just fine until I saw the guy approaching me. He whispered to me saying “stop it”. I asked why and he didn’t respond. So I kept killing Hoppers. Then the guy goes all indignant on me and starts cursing me off. He tells me to leave. Why should I? I mean, I’m level 38, I kill the Hoppers faster than him (even though the Hoppers were set to level 1. Sad, huh?), and Hunting Grounds are meant to be for anyone. read more

Somehow, I’m not impressed.

I think I might consider disbanding guild.

I haven’t played Maple in about a week and it’s not because I’m busy with school (no one can procrastinate homework quite like I can). It’s because everytime I log on, someone finds a new way to irritate me. Which is not to say that I officially hate my Maple friends. I still love most of them (especially the MMOT ones that don’t log on) but I just can’t stand being around them. read more
