The Viper Strikes Next: Chapter 34

-=Hold Me Today as we Fly Away=-

“Amazing….simply amazing! I’d heard about this a lot growing up, but to see it for real like this….it’s unbelievable.”

Lance was referring to the ship the group of adventurers had boarded as he spoke. Dubbed the S.S. Ellinia, the enormous cruise ship was in every way a sight to behold. From the outside, it was a majestic schooner, crafted from various wood and metals to give the ship a regal look. A humongous sail, spread out above a great deal of the ship, wafted under the light winds. Twin engines set on the sides of the ship looked to provide plenty of power for flight. From the outstretched pole on the bow to the shining glass windows dotting the stern, every inch of the vessel practically screamed for a glance, and often got more than that. read more

Forgive me not, for I have a sin

Heh, I love play-on-words. Especially with the title.XD

Yeah, the title says it all. SpiderFangX, my stand-in for the sleeping viper, is now an ASSASSIN! The two-timing, two-butted killer that more than half of MS seems to be!

The process took me a bit longer than I promised, not getting there till April 2nd, but eh, a I work 8 hours every day, so it isn’t quite so easy. Well, not getting on the game, anyway. Making the sin itself, now that was a breeze. Man, those wood and rock masks really sped things up. Too bad my old dit never got that treatment. I also kpqed a lot for once, first time I actually got into it that much. I even led a few. Heh, new for me. Nonetheless, I made a few friends and grinded the rest of the way in a party. Talked to the ninja, got some marbles for my collection, gave em back, you get the deal. Compared to my first time, this was actually a piece of cake!^_^ The steelies helped too.XD I’ll never trade those for any amount of mesos. read more

Enough dagger action, now I throw STARS!

And knives!

And icicle thingys!

And KITCHEN SINK-*CRASH* Er….not anymore.

Anyway, Tninja has now lived even closer to his name by taking a break from his bandityness to take a look at the ranged side of combat. Yes, I’ve tried bowmen and crossbowmen before, and yes, I know I’m only adding to the already outrageous number of sins in the game, but so what? While I do like xbowmen the most, I can’t help but look at assassins fighting in the game and on youtube and think, “man, that just looks so cool.” Plus, I’ve done so well with the bandit, and I do like rogues in general, so why not? Not to mention sins do have advantages over the bowsters. Ultimately, I think it was the fact that I’d found star-weapons as a dit, and after having trouble selling them(odd that >&gt, I was sick of letting them sit around. Thus, SpiderFangX, the sin, is born. read more

The Viper Strikes Next: Chapter 32

-=Shadow’s Rematch=-

:Earlier:

“So…..that’s my final task, is it? To take down that clone of yours?”

Shadow’s mood was hovering somewhere between excitement and skepticism as he listened to what would be his final required achievement before his training was considered completed. The clone of Dark Lord, a foe he’d met once before, an enemy that nearly killed him, was to be defeated by his hand….alone. The bandit was in a mild state of disbelief as he continually thought this over, sitting in the basement of the jazz bar with Crow and the real Dark Lord. read more

Back in the game full time

You heard right! After a long time of waiting, I’m now officially at my own apartmenty-place, free to do whatever I choose when I’m not working or doing other stuff. Most of that time has been spent making up for lost time on the game I’ve grown up with for about three years so far. Needless to say, if you’ve seen my mmotales ID, I’ve been looking around at other games, too. Since my laptop is cheapo, my options are limited, but I did manage to find at least three others that work well-Grand Chase, Darkeden, and Corum Online. They’re pretty sweet thus far, and I’ll try to make time for them, too. read more

The Viper Strikes Next: Act 2 Prologue

-=One Month Later=-

(warning: VERY FREAKING LONG!)

Time passed by for everyone on Victoria Island with very little new happenings; no intense battles sprang to life, no giant monsters invaded, and no sense of ultimate evil pervaded anyone’s senses. For a full thirty days, peace seemed to return to the once troubled island. With no great demon to prey upon Victoria, feelings of calm and joy increased throughout the populace. More fortunate, the number of deaths among adventurers from monster attacks decreased greatly, and similar deaths among civilians were virtually nonexistent. Victorians were also much less fearful with the oni’s presence gone, which led to a rise in travel between cities and towns, as well as economy from shopping. Monster hunting activities also spiked. For the first time in years, Victoria Island was safe and secure once more. read more

Alright, I’m back! You can stop waiting!

*crashes into the room, knocks a lamp over*

Oops! Ah, probably wouldn’t have gotten much at the auction anyway.-_-

Geez, I’m finally here! Alright, so I didn’t get to the fanfic like I said.

IT WASN’T MY FAULT! PLEEEEEASE DON’T DEACTIVATE ME!

Fun fact: I like Star Wars.

Anyway, the city life didn’t quite bode as well for me as I thought, so I went back home. However, this is why plan B exists. I’m getting full time hours on two jobs right now, so money is coming along well. Plus, I’ll be getting another new place of mine soon. It’s in my hometown, but I’m not going to argue. Any place in the world that lets me live on my own and plat mmo games all I want works for me! read more

My Triumphant Return

Getting game-related stuff out of the way: trained with my bandit up a bit, to around 10%. I’ve decided to return to the teddies. While the overall training area layout is less convenient, the teddies give me more xp overall than the goblins, and of course I get reunited with Papulatus(the FAKEtron 2000 version).

Aside from that, this blog’s title says it all: I’m back! Pretty much full time from what I can tell.^_^ Still looking for a full-time job technically, but as far as living goes, I managed to finally get out of my old folks home(ugh, never thought I would). Currently I’m living in a bigger city-area, meaning I’ll have to relearn driving a little, but I got in on a house with 5 other people. Freaking sweetness, now there should be nary nothing to keep me from being online like I was before. YES! read more

Decisions Made, Level 80, & a Complaint

Hey everyone, sorry I haven’t been on in a while. As I predicted, holidays did get busy. Unfortunately, that wiill not make my blogging life here any easier even now that they’re over. After a long and strenuous Senior year in college, which ened with a few bad grades(-_-), I’m now on the path of finding a full-time job. That means I’ll be stuck at home for a while, long or short. In any case, my net life will be direly limited while I’m at home searching, so my recent onslaught of writing that came before the holidays will be tapered by a drought. Billions of apologies to you all who enjoy my writing, and know that once I get a solid net source up and running, I’ll be back on my feet like I was before. read more

Decisions, Decisions

Heeeeeeeeeeeeey everyone!

Tninja’s back, and good news abound! I finally managed to get wireless working on my laptop at home, wo my online time won’t be as limited as I thought, which is good, since I can FINALLY get my CB to level 80! Oh, that pirate garb of mine shall sit idle no longer!

Speaking of which, I played it through last weekend, and made an interesting discovery. Way back earlier in the year, I asked to see if the boss clones would still be around after that one summer even finished, and was told no. T_T Man, I loved those clones. I mean, the CBal clone was the one that got me a lot of my levels during my zombie training sessions, plus they all gave me CAKE! Yum, wedding cakes. read more
