MapleSAP Special: Magicians

Since Northern Markets is at the part about magicians, i figured I’d run a special about magicians themselves to give ppl a better view of the magicians in Victoria.

MapleSAP Special: Magicians 00

“…Magic Junkies..coming out in theaters this Friday!..”
“The magician students in our school have all been involved in this gothic-anti Christ like cult which is targeting pureblood students at school and in the community. The police have confirmed that they all conduct illegal forms of magic…including witchcraft, which is the use of magic against humans, animals, or property…”
“…used their magic and tainted other students cloths, and food with dangerous magic radiation….”
“…study says it all…accross Kerning City from Naples to Yahzou, magicians are 78% more likely to drop out and become addicts…”
“…girl was rushed to hospital with severe magic burns after she was attacked by a group of magicians outside Westborough High School…”
“…have caused blackouts and power outages before, costing customers and Westview Hydro severely…”
“…dangerously transmitted magic energy to other people, causing them to sieze up…” read more

Episode 80: Look what the ranger brought in

“Bog siar! Bog siar!”
“Get back! Move it, now!”
The convoy moved slowly across the suspended bridges and elevated branchways. The mob of archmages surrounded the delivery truck as it rolled slowly by like some weird parade.
The civilians; average low level people were herded away by the arch mages, who were keeping a 60-foot distance between people and the truck. People huddled nervously around the shops by the sides of the branchways as the convoy drove past. Leading them was a crystal-powered GM’s hover patrol car with its blue lights flashing.
[“Clear out! Dangerous cargo coming through!”]
The GM’s ahead were on hover motorbikes and hog mounts, honking air horns to get the people moving off the main road.
the archmages had their staffs up and ready to ice the truck if anything were to happen. These mages had lightning reflexes and could ice a bomb the second it exploded and actually stop the blast itself. These mages wore sleek black robes with blue patches on- the patch symbols were staffs crossed like an X with the red star over them in a blue background. They were from the CCA’s 7E Foireann (7th elite squad), one of the magicians’ most brutal forces. They drove out the Sharenians, decimated the invading rangers, and literally shredded and fried the Sino Army who invaded back in 1942. Because most of the 1500 mages who belonged to the 7E-F, they handled the deadly threats, such as the truck driven by a JA ranger. Because he was alone and surrendered immediately, the 7E-F assumed he was a suicide bomber and the truck was packed with some high yield bomb.
When the ranger was captured and the mages discovered the suffering magicians, the CCA ordered them to guard the truck until the 7E-F came, and the Bomb Scaud team examined the half dead magicians, and make sure they themselves weren’t being used as bombs. read more

EPISODE 79: The Enemy’s New B****

“Today, after 11:00AM, the Ellinia Magic Council’s delegation departed from Victoria Air Station accompanied by new allies, the leading officials of the Kerning City Council including Mayor Dullivan, who just hours ago, signed a friendship treaty in a secret meeting. The dispute between Ellinia and Kerning were dismissed and swept aside when Dullivan agreed to meet all of Ellinia’s demands for better magician treatment in exchange for refugee aid and military assistance. At 12:00, the CCA was granted authorization to assume command and assume role as a military force rather than a public police agency. As first act in their new role, the CCA gave the green light for construction on a wall and checkpoint at Cuurs Pass 75 km to the south. Representative Symbister, the leader of the Ellinia Delegation, hopes to meet with the Perion delegation in advance of the summit meeting tomorrow. He agreed with Grendel IV that if the cities of Victoria united, the alliance would put immense political pressure on the JA….” read more

EPiSoDe 78: Interrogation

“Students at the Forest Grove High School in north east Ellinia had a nasty surprise when vieweing video tapes and memory crystals. The FG Fireflies hockey team who returned home from the high school hockey champoinship expected to see videos of them in action when instead found footage of magician murder. The CCA siezed the video tapes, DVD’s and memory crystals and is investigating the students’ posession of such materials. At a press release, a spokesman for the CCA stated after debriefing of the hockey team, there is no sign of any action on their part in how they acquired the footage. CCA investigators believe that the hockey team was used as a mule to transport the crystals.
Students from the team said that a stranger sat with them at Gate E in Orbis Station while they waited to board the ship home, and that the man did not board the ship. Orbis Station security said that the man was an arrival from the North, and he deposited the suitcase with the hockey team’s stuff. The suitcase was identical to the coach’s and had ‘FireFlies’ written on it, too. According to Orbis Station security, GM officers inspected everyone’s property, and the students mistakenly said the video crystals were theirs. The man, who boarded a plane back to Riprey, left a message in broken Singlish, instrucing the discoverer to turn the video crystals to the Ellinia authorities immediately. The video crystals hold footage of magicians being slaughtered at a market. Additional materials included maps, invoices, copies of paychecks, and other articles. While authorities in Orbis and Ellinia are investigating the matter, no charges are being laid against the students. “They were used as mules and they were completely unaware,” GM maxell said, “We are working with Orbis Station security officers on the matter. One student pointed out in a school paper that the invoices and documents on the disks trace back to parties involved with the Justice Arrow…”— Maple Radio, Winter 18, 2008. read more

KLON Loses Lawsuit
<Orbis> Last week, on Thursday, the high profile court case between media giant K.L.O.N
and youth operated free speech magazine STAMP came to a close with the judge deciding that KLON must
pay up for te trouble it caused.
Judge MattipwnerSin (retired 107 hermit) handed down his order to KLON’s lawyers at and closed the case with a bang
at 3:48 PM.
The court orders KLON to pay a total of 2.14 billion mesos to The Singa Times, Singapura’s biggest media outlet and mother company of STAMP.
The legal battle began months ago when KLON filed the lawsuit against STAMP over misrepresentation charges in Maple Civil Court in Orbis. The case was moved to criminal court a week later after the Singa Times legal team filed for a dismissal order at SEA Lands District Court 14. KLON pressed criminal charges against STAMP’s Kerning city branch in order to keep their case alive.
KLON initially charged and sued over STAMP’s expose of KLON’s magazines and TV files concerning religious tension in Kerning City. STAMP analyzed a pro-JA documentary and made a show of their own and posted the expose on Urban Rust TV.
The court case resulted in STAMP’s Kerning City employees and volunteers being arrested and jailed. They were transferred to the detention center in Orbis.
KLON’s aim was to economically crush the STAMP program nationwide, and severely damage the Singa Times; thus giving KLON some room in Singapura, and discourage media-free-speech everywhere.
The judge reviewed all of the evidence in a 45 minute lecture before handing down his decision.
“…lawyers exercised excellent strategy in this round of legal chess in choking the Singa Times and their subsidary companies and placed orders that illegally prohibited the Times from employing their legal defence in this case. The prosecutor’s clients also used the case as a show of force to threaten people’s free speech rights while [KLON]
continued to exercise their cover for their partner, the Justice Arrow in media and public relations matters. Basically your lies were exposed by the Defence’s client, and in response you legally attacked STAMP and it’s mother company, not only to protect your own work, which is also controversial, but plans for possible expansion to Singapura…”
The SingaTimes originally ignored the case until they were listed as a target by KLON a month later. In the last month, the case was turned to the Maple Supreme Court.
In the order that the judge handed down yesterday, KLON must pay 2.14 billion mesos in damges to the SingaTimes, 750 million mesos to STAMP, its employees, volunteers, and their families. Last night, the employees were released from jail and sent home to Kerning City. A court decision next week will determine if KLON must pay out an additional 50 million to each of them. read more
