Well, I intended to just leave quietly… no ending blog or anything. I had already “left”, but then I realised I should probably say a proper goodbye and not leave people to wonder, what the heck ever happened to Roisin?
I hardly play any of my old games anymore. I’m just too busy. I don’t have the motivation to make comics. I don’t feel like talking to anyone or being around anyone.
Two blogs in one day? Who would have thought… it’s highly unusual for me. Ah well. I could not let this opportunity to slip by to make another comic, haha.
This one features LunarPanda/Steve, in memory of the day I lagged so badly in MSEA that I saw him going round everywhere with his relaxer stuck to his bum. XD XD
And now I’m going to take a break from posting and making MMOT-related comics, so I can get back to making the original series I was going to post. Hehe.
Well, tonight I was really inspired to do a comic haha. I had already been working on one, but this is my first ever completed one. The one that I was planning to be my first comic shall have to be my second. I needed to get this idea out of my head. XD
The story behind this comic is the day Fenny, Ganzy, and I were in MSEA, Ganzy kept getting pwned by this one particular snail that kept following him. He was lagging horribly. I couldn’t imagine lagging that badly, although in SEA I have lagged pretty bad.
Finally after fighting with the patch for a day, Wizet finally put up a bittorrent link to it, so I was able to dl it super-fast. Before that, I kept trying the auto-patcher, which would give me an error around 10/11kb dled. This happened three times before Silver (thanks!) suggested I dl the manual patch.
Brilliant! So I skipped off to do just that. It stopped dling at 31%. So I re-dled, and left it overnight. I got up in the morning to find out it stopped at 31% again. Grrr. That was when I noticed they finally had the BT link up for this version. All went smoothly after that.
Alliteration ftw. Haha. The following events happened yesterday, day before, and probably a few days before too. I cant remember now. Ive been saving up til I had enough to write about, otherwise Id just be making multiple short blogs about the same thing, and I hate doing that.
My best-friend-irl and I have been having a splendid time wreaking havoc across Mardia with our random silly acts. No one’s usually around to witness these, but we imagine the expressions of people if they did, and we are doubled over laughing at them.
Well, I got my best friend irl to join me on Mardia, so that was pretty awesome. And I met up with a bunch of old friends from Scania there, too. It was great. I didn’t think they’d ever leave, but they soon saw the wisdom of leaving such a crowded place. And they still level up just as fast and frequently, so I don’t think there’s any regret of loss of high characters.
Thanks muchly to Ganzicus for explaining how to upgrade my equips in GE; I haven’t died in Al Quelt yet! I haven’t tried to escape it either. I just decided, like Silver, to hang about til my family reaches level 20.
I had, however, forgotten that magic items break after +4. I got confused and switched it around. Ganz had patiently explained to me over MSN that magic items (such as those used for wizard and ele) break after you get them to +4. Everything else breaks after +5.
Argh! I died again, several times D: . . . I don’t know what my major malfunction is, but I can’t get through that bloody maze. At least I died far less than I normally would have, thanks to Ganzicus explaining to me how to upgrade my equips.
I only upgraded armor, and only to +3. I didn’t want to chance breaking it. Also, I finally figured out how to use the character cards. I have Ramiro, and it turns out he’s a lvl 16 fighter, so I threw him in with my scout and ele, who are already lvl 17, but just barely.
No, the title wasn’t just to get your attention. My AV (antivirus) program really did find a trojan and healed it, in my Documents and Settings>All Users>Application Data>NexonUS>NGM>NGM.exe. Very very strange. I had not played GMS at all, in awhile. Same with KartRider.
The last game I had played was MSEA, trying to get Ara to lvl 15. So I don’t know how or why I got the trojan. The only thing I can think of that I did recently was signed up for the MapleStory Sprites forum, but I haven’t heard of anyone getting a trojan merely from signing up at a forum. (shrug) It just boggles, y’know?
Ohemgee GE is starting to really piss me off. I still can’t manage to get through the bloody Al Quelt Moreza without dying repeatedly to some stupid aggro mob. (>_<#)
I was killed by a mob of level 10s and 12s, and the members of my family are each level 17! 17! I can’t believe it. Well, they’re going to stay there for awhile.
