I hate Al Quelt with a passion!

Argh! I died again, several times D: . . . I don’t know what my major malfunction is, but I can’t get through that bloody maze. At least I died far less than I normally would have, thanks to Ganzicus explaining to me how to upgrade my equips.

I only upgraded armor, and only to +3. I didn’t want to chance breaking it. Also, I finally figured out how to use the character cards. I have Ramiro, and it turns out he’s a lvl 16 fighter, so I threw him in with my scout and ele, who are already lvl 17, but just barely.

What you do (in case you haven’t found the explanation somewhere) is you go to the barracks and create a new character. Under the drop-down list of professions to pick from, at the bottom you should see the name of the character card you have (in my case, it said ‘Ramiro’). Select this and give him/her a name. I chose to keep his name Ramiro, since he’s an npc of sorts and not my original character.

It seems everytime I go into Al Quelt and fight there for awhile, eventually my characters stop responding to me and don’t move. I don’t lag, and I can still do other stuff (like run away), but putting them in patrol mode eventually stops working for some reason. And that’s when I die. It sucks.

So for now I give up on GE. I’m tired of staying stuck where the level 12 monsters are, there are way too many bloody mobs that gang up on you in those rooms. I’m sick of logging out frustratedly, only to know the next time I login again I have to go to the waypoint, waste another 100vis to warp to Al Quelt, just to fight and die again and repeat.

I logged into Flyff after ages of not being on. I didn’t stay on long though, I gained about 4% before I decided I was pretty bored and logged off. I’ll play some MS tomorrow, maybe.

Lately I’ve been into playing my GameCube again, and rediscovering Twilight Princess. I got stuck at one point the last time I played, so this time I just decided to erase my old game and start from scratch.

  1. Oooo, what’s this of upgrading items I hear? Do tell, mister.

Are NPC’s any good? I don’t want to have too much characters to train with. =/

  2. Aw.

Man, if we could be online on GE at the same time. Then I could try to rescue you or something. :X

Or you could try to hang around in that dungeons until you get to lvl 20, when you’d get better armour? I think I stayed in Al Quelt until I hit lvl 20. :X

  3. Ganz: Oh okay, haha. I thought you said it broke after +5 though? (or trying to get to +5. . .)

Ben: it’s great for when you do need to actually level, but it’s not great when you’re just passing through lmao.

Cheezy: Go to Idge in town; unequip all the stuff you wanna upgrade. Then select “enchant something” (forgot the real text lol sorry~) and pay your vis. It depends on what your item is as to how much it’ll cost. Upgrading my scout’s armor only cost me 50vis each time, but my ele’s cost me 90vis.

Silver: I guess I’ll just stay there and level, lmao. It seems the easiest thing to do, instead of trying to leave. The mobs probably won’t do so much damage to me once I’m in my 20s.
