Throngs of people flow back and forth through the outdoor shopping district. The open doors of stores are thrown open to the customers meandering about the mall situated in downtown Ellinia. Slivers of sunshine filter down into the open court, which is beautified with cleanly swept tile floors and columns of youthful trees lining the center of the walkway.
Man, I typed Tales of a Lost World for the title before I realized what I was doing.
Chapter 1 An Apathetic World
An array of images is displayed on the television screen. The bold outlines of the Royal Estates buildings figure prominently in the early morning glow of a rising sun.
We continue our breaking news coverage of the attempted overnight assassination of King Lucida IV. It seems that at approximately 1:00 AM last night, an assassin broke into the grounds of the Royal Estate and attempted to assassinate our King Lucida IV. Although in a public statement the King expressed severe disappointment that a citizen of the Royal Republic of Ossyria would attempt to make a bid on his life, the King was not found to be hurt. The resulting blast from the collision of the two forces rocks the entire tower, causing Kunai to nearly slip and plummet all the way back down the stone stairs. Instead, he stumbles and holds onto the cold stone steps for support.
Episode 116 The Never Ending Frost
Deep inside Aodh Tower, in the midst of the darkness, the rumble of the thunder outside, a bright iridescence outshines everything else. The frail, yet strangely beautiful bodies of Ayame, Ivy, and Lily, the Three Phonemes, are pinned to the wall by magical placeholders. Each girl is unconscious, lost in a deep, impenetrable sleep.

A light fog grips the still air. Distantly, thunder punctures the suffocating silence angrily. A darkened sky presides over the empty, rocky terrain. Far away, the faint, eerie sound of a train whistle serenades the silent world. A lantern bobs slightly in the darkness, suspended by the raised arm of an unknown traveler.

Kunai opens his eyes slowly and lethargically, as if waking from a deep slumber. He finds himself laying flat on the ground, watching the blurry world above. Several dark figures are hunched over him. The soft, glowing light of morning shines from behind the murmuring shapes.
Episode 113 Lord Kimuras Wish
A breeze sweeps by, fanning curtains of rain through the air. A bolt of lightning rips the sky apart. The flash lights up the tall, dark figure of Lord Kimura, who stands calmly before Kunai, Ivy, and Lily.
Kunai takes just a moment to react to the surprise ambush. Lily! he shouts, swallowing a mouthful of raindrops due to the persistent wind. Run away! Go get help! Ill hold him off!
