This episode is fairly short and boring. Don’t worry, the next episode will be packed with action. I kind of just needed a transition to introduce more characters.

It was time for the guild meeting Patrick had scheduled. Patrick, Megan, and Andy stepped onto the podium.

“We have gathered here today to inform you guys of an important issue.” Patrick said.
“My dear friends by the name of Kevin, Amy, and Eric are in deep trouble. They cannot handle this alone. They need our help. Andy, Megan, and I have already pledged our services for their protection.”

“If you help us here, you’ll be well-rewarded in the times to come.” Andy continued.

The guild started mumbling. Soon afterwards, a buff guy stepped up. Then four more people volunteered.

“This is Michael, Emily, Louis, Taylor, and Lucas.” Megan said introducing us.

“I will not fail you.” Michael said brandishing his Shining. Apparently he was a Fighter.

“I will try to do my best.” Taylor said as a beam ice fell to the ground.

Megan introduced the rest of them and told them the whole story. Emily was Chief Bandit, Louis was a Spearman, and Lucas was a Hermit.

“We can’t thank you enough for even volunteering for our cause.” I said gratefully.

“Ah no problem, now where are they? I can’t wait to get a piece of them.” Lucas said eagerly.

“Whoa calm down man, maybe we should wait til they come to us.” Louis said calmly.

“After all, what they did to Kevin’s parents? I don’t want the same thing to happen to me.” Emily said worriedly.

“Do you have any clue at all as to where they live?” Patrick asked me.

“Not a clue, what I do know is that Daniel comes from a long line of Spearmen. His dad was a Dragon Knight and his mom; and their parents too, so my guess is Perion, although they probably have friends here in Orbis too. If they didn’t I have no idea how they threw that brick into your house. Also, what are we going to do about that window?” I replied.

“My house? It’s fine Kevin, it’s your house too. And don’t worry about the window, we can figure something out.” Andy told me.

“Alright thanks guys.” I thanked them again.

“Now, let’s go at least try to find out where they are.” Patrick said leading the way.

I hope that with all the new friends, I actually stood a chance against Daniel and whoever he’s working with. If not, I’ll end up like my parents, dead, and that’s the last thing I want…
