So here is the long-awaited (I hope) episode 10 to The Maple Story! I thought that this was going to be a lot better than the last episode. In my opinion it is better… but not as good as I hoped it would be. Well here it is

I got up to the sound of birds chirping. I woke up, got dressed, and tucked my Korean Fan in my back pocket. After Eric woke up, we headed down to breakfast. We talked with Amy and everyone else as usual.

Amy and I walked to Maple History class. We had a pop quiz about Sleepywood. Thus began the first day of the 2nd week of Maple Academy.

The rest of the day flew by like a breeze. Agility was the hardest class of the day. Stealth was by far the easiest. We had a free-day because the teacher was sick and the subsitute had no idea what we were doing.

We had another assembly during free period. Student Council President Stephen went up and spoke:

“Hello my fellow students. We have an event coming up. Our first school dance. Yes that’s right, it is coming up on Friday. So start asking people to be your dates!”

We all headed back to our dorms.

“Let me guess, you’re going to ask Amy?” Eric asked right as we got inside our room.

“Maybe… Are you asking Melissa?” I asked back.

“Maybe…” he replied.

“I got a deal for you. I’ll ask Amy if you ask Melissa.” I told him.

“Deal!” he said confidently.

We headed off toward dinner. As we got in the line we saw Melissa and Amy sitting at the table. We glared at each other, nodded, and proceeded to get our food. We both went over to the table.

“Amy can I talk to you for a second?” I asked.

“Sure” she replied.

We went to a corner.

“Hey Amy, wouldyouliketobemydateforthedance?” I mumbled out.

“Huh?” She asked in confusement.

“Would you like to be my date for the dance?” I asked more clearly this time.

“I’d love to” she replied.

We went back to our table happily. As dinner finished we got back to our dorms and I saw Eric talking to Melissa. I giggled to myself and went back to my dorm. Eric came in 10 minutes later telling me that he asked Melissa out. I congratulated him and told him that I asked Amy and she also said yes.

The rest of the week flew by like a breeze and all I could think of was Amy. Friday was here before I knew it and I was really nervous.

I met up with Amy. I could tell she was nervous but then again I was too. Most people didn’t even have dates so I was proud. Amy and I had lots of fun. We talked and laughed throughout the whole dance.

At the end we talked privately.

“I had a really good time today.” Amy told me.

“Me too.” I agreed with her.

Amy kissed me on the cheek and went toward her dorm. I met Eric back at our dorm. He told me what happened with Melissa at the dance. I told him what happened with Amy.

“She kissed you?” he asked in bewilderment.

“Yeah, I’m kind of hoping it doesn’t stop there.” I laughed.

Apparently Amy thought of me more than just a friend. I couldn’t wait until the next time I saw her…
