Thamboaw: The stranger(3)

I crouched over the body of the tramp. He snored contently without a single worry or frown on his face. I grinned as I drew my Bazlud from my pocket. I moved my hand across his neck and in one single deadly movement, all his life’s blood flowed out from the cut. I grinned bloodthirstily as I drank the hot, salty blood. I could feel my strength growing with every single mouthful.

Come its time for your brother’s death.

“Are you sure master?” I replied uncertainly.

With my help, impossible has become a word without any meaning. Come let us journey to the land where no grass grows, Perion.

“Yes, master.” I replied after much thought.

‘Who is he, my master? How does he reply to what I say every time? What kind of person is he like?’

You have no need to worry about who I am. Just worry about what you will become, Za. Let’s just take it that I’m a demon that’s on your side.

For once in my life, I did not trust the demon. But I continued on, regardless of my thoughts, my expression did not betray me. I arrived home. I hasted and flashed jump. I was about to move in for the kill when I saw a guy walking towards my house.

I stopped and frowned. If there was a witness, things were going to be difficult. I sighed and turned to find another victim for the time being.

Where are you going, little one?

“Off the find another victim,” I replied coldly.

No, why don’t you get closer to that guy? For your 99th victim, you need to be close to the person as conditions require you, little one.

“Fine.” I answered back, voice colder than usual, “You are not my mother or father, and I do not need you to baby-sit me.”

Ah, that’s where you’re wrong Za; you need me to teach you before you grow.

Not wanting to answer, I merely shrugged and approached the guy. I waved to him and smiled. He smiled back.

“Howdy, me name’s Mukaz Rellik. What’s yer name?” said Mukaz with a grin. ”Haven’t seen yer before? ‘Is new?

“Ya,” I mumbled, feeling uncomfortable. ”I’m Za Kum.”

“Za Kum?” He narrowed his eyes. “Well, I see, come with me and leave that voice away…”

He knows the voice???

I know this sucks, but if I don’t explain everything, you won’t understand the story
