Well, I’m back on MMO, but to be honest, I never left. I just never posted and stuff. It’s too bad that the first blog I’m submitting in a while is gonna be about one of the worst experiences I’ve had on Maple.
Here goes
Yesterday I logged into MapleStory, already in a bad mood. I was sick, angry at my parents, and pissed off at life in general. Logged on to find that a buddy of mine wasn’t having such a great day either. With every single thing that happened, he would cuss and lash out at me even though I wasn’t at fault (I think? >.O).
Finally, I confronted him, and asked him what was wrong. Stubbornly, he answered with an angry “nothing -_-” and I replied by saying “Are you sure? You seem pretty upset.” Then of course, he started to blindly throw around words that no one likes hearing. So I said, “You’re acting really different, this isn’t like you.”
“YEAH? THEN MAYBE WE SHOULDN’T BE FRIENDS ANYMORE.”
“ Wait, what?”
“As far as I’m concerned, we’re no longer friends.”
And suddenly, he wasn’t on my BL anymore.
Ouch? I don’t remember agreeing to that!
I know this is just an online game, but that really made me sad. I mean, a friend is a friend no matter what form, right? I considered him a close friend, but I guess that didn’t go both ways. Now I’m pinching myself to see if this is actually happening. This is like the time when I was getting surgery and I was trying to fight the anesthesia, then realized I didn’t actually wanna be awake for all of it. x-x

Er, well in lighter news I actually managed to gain 2% before my map was taken from me~

A friend ain’t a friend if one betrays you. Or gets pissed for reasons that you couldn’t understand or know and kick you off their bud-list.

Frankly, I havn’t had such a bad day so that I’d kill a buddy. But life still ain’t that fair, is it?

I came up with the idea of ‘Life isn’t fair’. Someone just got the word out before me.
Oh well. Had that whole ‘I delete you nao kthxbaihaveagudlife!’ happen to me too, twice.
There is one more case with my Maple ‘brother’ where we are already not speaking to each other, but somehow both of us are too stubborn to delete each other off the BL. >.> No matter, I blocked that person from listening to my chat anyway; if people can’t deal with how I can do things without notifying them, they can jolly well not listen to me carry on with my life, tsh.

No offense, please, but there are some time where you just gotta punch your monitor. Let some of that minus energy go. Use pain, entertainment, others, as a distraction.
And never let ANY online environment, be it a buddy or a IRC chat window, failed internet or buggy game, take you down. Your bigger then that.
