Yeah, baby, yeah!

Level 48. Forty-eight. Quarante-huit. That’s only two levels away from 50, and outleveling my friend Lucky who levels way too fast for her own freaking good. Oh, and three levels away from being able to LMPQ, which I hear is a godsend for perpetually destitute people such as yours truly. (bigwordslol.) Yeah, I know, it’s a PQ. And when you PQ, you usually have to deal with people who are… well, a few colors short of a rainbow. And that generally requires patience. Which I don’t have.

Unless there’s money involved.

…which there is.

Anywho, I got my archer to level 19 yesterday, and I’m already bored to death of it. My double shot deals pitifully low damage, and my only training option is pig beach. KSing mages galore. Actually, it’s not just mages. I get KSed by everyone. Sins, bandits, other bowmen… even warriors. I, a level 19 ranged character, have been KSed by a level 15 warrior. That’s pretty sad.

Once I’ve gotten sick of that, my only other option would be to HPQ, which is basically monopolized by idiots. No thanks.

So I’ve been doing quests. I’m starting to really like quests, actually. Did some of the KFT quests on my sin. It was like, 2-3% per quest. They didn’t take too long to finish, either – about 5 minutes each. Sometimes less. Which is pretty darn good. Hell, you get exp for running back and forth a few times.

I decided I wasn’t going to do the rice quest, though. Ranged character + no mob skills + Helios Tower’s terrain = asdfgsjgjfhkdfs.

But eh, I’ll run out of quests eventually… and then I’ll have to start training. Kinda dreading that, since finding an empty STD channel has been next to impossible lately. I might have to find a new, less crowded place to train. >_>;
I’ve checked guides, Hidden Street – still clueless.

Idears?

  1. Continue training at some orange mushroom area till level 20+.

    Use normal shots.

    Yup, bowmen are sad, sad, emo people when they’re young. =P

  2. There’s not much idiots in LMPQ actually
    You’re gonna be considered a real idiot in the beginning so get ready for that

    I didn’t like bowmen either
    No offense, but to me they were just a boring class

    ~LaZzz. . .

  3. The most important lesson I learned in MS, was that you should stick with one character.

  4. You were AFK in Nath for a LONG time yesterday! D;

    I got my archer to level 12 or 13 when you were AFK.

    Whoops. Sorry about that, I uh, kinda fell asleep.

    And grats! :]]]

  6. Kitsch is a guy’s name

    Also the title “Yeah, baby, yeah” reminds me of something inappropriate

  7. Dexless sins depress me, lol. You do as much damage as I do 10 levels higher. But then, that’s not considering the fact that all the equips I’m currently wearing are worth about 1 mil in total ._.
    -thinks-
    Horribly under-par Rower, 400k. 100%’d overall, 400k. Shoes, <100k. Gloves… well for some reason I’m now wearing a clean glove worth about 20k, but my ‘good’ glove is still only ~1 mil. Cape, 1.5 mil.
    Hm that’s actually about 3.5 mil.
    That’s still pretty sad.

    Anyways, may I suggest Flyeyes? They’re pretty good. By bowman standards, anyway.

    Watch you die by sharks before getting there. LOl.

    Edit: I started killing fly eyes at level 37 with a warrior pot. Dexless
    Equips:
    31 Maple Claw
    7 attack workglove
    16 luk robe
    7 dex snow shoes

    Then no pot 1 hit kill level 45
    Dexless

    35 Kandayo
    8 attack wg
    19 dex robe
    7 dex snow shoes
    10 dex earrings
    4 luk pilfer
    yadda yadda.

  9. I know an idea.

    Maybe, you should play during 8am-3pm when nobody is on.

    I do that whenever I’m sick at home. No morons are on and the only people who are, are either also sick, have no life, or are adults.

    kitsch (n.)
    excessively garish or sentimental art; usually considered in bad taste

    I was watching Austin Powers while writing this blog. :]

    Been to Flyeyes already. Don’t plan on going back, either.
    Not only did I die about eight billion times, I used about 500 white potions every 5 minutes – and that’s not much of an exaggeration. I couldn’t loot unless I wanted to use up 500 more potions, so my profit was negative. Plus, I kept getting swarmed so I couldn’t hit anything.

    Basically, it sucked. >_>;

  12. Uh, how did you go about training there?
    If you stand on the step and just spam L7 they shouldn’t be able to get to you.
