Today I was mapling with my noob f/p mage-to-be. I wanted to start the1st sabimatra quest but had to travel to sleepywood. (SLEEPYWOOD? Thats far! Lol.) Like most commoners above lvl30 there was NO WAY I was willing to walk there so I tried to buy a scroll to sleepywood. Nobody cared and I was practically begging, saying, “B>RETURN SCROLL SLEEPYWOOD PLEASE SELL.” I even went all the way to the monkey forests (good training area for many 40-50 clerics and thieves) and had to changel channels to find a seller.

Finally I found one, and that kind cleric even gave me a sleepywood scroll for free! I immediately thanked her profusely and famed her before continuing to sleepywood. When I was there, I realised that I might as well get some charm of the undeads to finish the manji (chunji or manji?) part of the maya and the weird medicine quest. Once again I headed over to the ant tunnel and started finding a seller of 40 charms. One person offer to sell me 40 for 70 each but it was waay overpriced so I refused.

Then another kind cleric (girl again) gave me 40 for free! Once again I thanked her, gave her 10k and left.

I know that a fame for a sleepy scroll may not be worth it and 10k for 40 charms of the undead is certainly not! (thats paying 250 each) Heck I am only doing that to repay their kindness. I am not saying that we should give out free items all the time but if we really can afford to spare them, go ahead! Sometimes your kind acts can really pay off.

PS: Another case was when my noob magician was still in maple island. Somebody helped me hunt 10 orange mushy caps and I paid him 50k the moment he got to victoria. (Main accounts help your noob accounts throughout their entire maple life unless you are feeling selfish to help yourself, am I not right?)

Last thing. I know that you all may say, “LOL NOOB SO MANY PEOPLE ALREADY TALK ABOUT THESE KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!” but why don’t you count the number of blogs similar to these? It’s a good feeling to know that there IS a friendly world out there. I’m not referring to everyone though…sadly.
