I hope you enjoy. In my opinion I think the plot gets a little more interesting from here on out. Secrets revealed, people slaughtered. That kind of thing. Just so you all know, I’m working as hard as I can on these. I’m still head editor for the podcast club at my school, staff editor and writer for our schools lit magazine, and i have this class where they make me write a huge essay every week. Not to mention mountains of regular school homework. So bare with me if they only come out once every two weeks or so. Sorry this one’s kinda short too. You’d think I’d promise to make up for it with a longer one next time, but I doubt that’ll happen. Okay, I guess I lied about the whole thing being edited by this week. As of now, I only have a newly written prologue and the first chapter done. Keep in mind I did combine a bunch of chapters, so Chapter one is like eight pages now. But still, that’s no excuse.
Anyway, as a peace offering, I did finish Chapter 3. The only problem is that it’s edited in word and not formatted for MMOTales, because I was planning to put it directly in with everything I have so far. Chapter 2: Light

Being exposed to that much natural light all at once was quite disorienting, which was weird, because natural light shouldn’t be that much of a problem with my Adept eyes activated. It took me a minute to realize, but it wasn’t natural light I was seeing. The whole southern side of the building was on fire. There were several gaping holes in the building, and flames protruded from the area around the blasts. Debris was everywhere.
