Trouble, Tragedy and Tespia

Thoughts, Togetherness, Thievery and Taedium Vitae.

Another long while has it been, this time only 4 months though. Yay for that

Since the time slowly neared itself to my darling ScarletWolfs second anniversary, I decided what better way to celebrate than to reach the infamous triple digits?
And so began the quest which came to a rather quick halt at the sudden loss of monetary support. Not that I got hacked, scammed, etc… No, I just plain out suck and mess up any financial endeavor. My economic capacities barely compare to a single 6 volt battery singlehandedly attempting to power a Boeing 747.
So the already rather slow ascend towards level 100 got slowed even further. Not to worry, my spirit was high at the time and I pressed on anyway. read more

9 Months

9 months has it been, since I last wrote a blog. I feel like I have so much to tell, I just haven’t had the time.

“Didn’t have time”… Typically my excuse…

Nonetheless, here goes. Starting where I left off.
I had gotten 3rd job. I enjoyed my first point in Assaulter to the fullest and I was feeling at home in my new guild, Renegade. At that time, goals to keep grinding weren’t all that necessary and time just passed as I grew stronger. Of course, due to my lack of goals I didn’t plan ahead and in the late 70’s I found out that I couldn’t afford a level 80 pirate set. That immediately took the breath out of my training and I felt like hitting a brick wall. read more

A new chapter

In my skill book. Finally!

Yes indeed. After almost a year after his creation (18th of April, 2006) my beloved ScarletWolf has reached the classification “Chief Bandit”. All the hours spent on that one character has payed of simply by 1 skill point. Assaulter is an avesome skill, even at level 1.
Funny enough, the hardest thing about my job advancement was to not get lost O_o
I think I spend a total of 2 hours just to find the Door of Dimension and the Holy Rock.
Dark Lords Clone: no biggie (Gelt choko =P )
The Pop Quiz: piece of cake.
But navigating myself to those places: hardest darn thing in the world. read more

Levelling and thinking

I finally reached level 68 and I’m now only 2 levels from my 3rd job advancement.
For reasons unknown, this made me think about a lot of things.
For once, what is the 3rd job advancement really? It’s just like level 10 or 30. You get a new skill book and a new description and then you’re left to do what you have been doing for the last many levels you’ve been going through already. Other than that it is of course a once-in-a-lifetime boss fight (unless you die in the middle of it). It doesn’t really seem like it’s all what it’s hyped up to be. read more

Oh golly! A rarity!

That refers to this blog. Not an in-game item or anything. Me not having written blogs in quite a while and not having written many at all surely would classify this as a rarity, no?
This should have set the case somewhat straight and now half of the readers should already be bored of what I’m typing, so they can just move on, press the back button, or whatever you feel like doing to get away from here. read more

finally level 60

At last, after savagely blowing myself trough an innumerable amount of undead monkeys, I finally reached level 60 and can wave a final goodbye to the hacker hotspot that are the Z-lupin tree.
And off for new adventures I was. Following advices from several places, I decided to try out coolie zombies. That was just plain bad. So I went on my way again, killing randomly before me, testing the potential in every monster I came across, until i reached the near bottom of Eos tower. There I found it. The training spot I will be using for at least a couple of levels. Yellow block golems, one-hit kills, 102 exp per kill and an extremely fast spawn. Unless I get bored and decide to do something very, very stupid as i often do. Oh well, Death Before Boredom! read more
