You know, there’s always a lapse between gaming, and blogging about gaming. Problem is, if you’re crazy enough to blog about gaming, that lapse is likely to feature MORE gaming. Sooner or later, if you keep putting it off, your content for blogging builds up to such garguatuan proportions you’ll just cry out “Gawd! I can’t do this!”

Sorry, but as I haven’t been exactly active in Maple (Mandos is STILL level 47) and my writer’s block might as well be called writer’s Everest, I had nada to blog. Unless you want weekly whinings about my NS, which I’ll be more than happy to oblige.

The silence on Kramat Lane was brutally murdered by a red-and-black maelstrom which emerged from a taxi, barged across the road, wormed its way through the human traffic and slowed down outside the door of an Internet cafe, revealing itself to be a tall youth in semi-formal attire, carrying an army field pack which clashed horribly with his clothes. Opening the door, he resumed maelstrom mode.
Well, people it’s been a fun month since I joined this place. But now the self-professed gaming nutcase is leaving for conscription and he aint sure when he be coming back, just that he IS, eventually. If National Service doesnt kill him that is *shivers*
Had fun terrorising you lot with my idiot humour and random logic, and trying to convince certain fanfiction authors their new chapters were nowhere as bad as their self-doubt coerced em to think.
Well, my mind’s randomness strikes again. Here I was, watching Get Backers (ep 26 in 29 hrs, people, I told you he was crazy) when suddenly the song It’s My Life got stuck in my head. And wouldn’t get out. So I went “Hey, lets drag this song to suffer like In the End did!” The result, as follows:

Some time ago, some guy rewrote Linkin Park’s In the End for Maple, which frankly was disappointing. A few word changes here and there, and he slapped “MY WORK” all over it. The central lyrics wasnt even that much different. In reality shows or soccer, I’ll probably go “My grandmother could do better!” since its just a figure of speech.

Today I logged in to start killing Cloudfoxes, which give 81 exp for one lucky seven, food drops on occassion and decent money i guess. No eq drops yet, while Silver gets red-hearted earrings (twice) from chilli slimes and starts taunting me about if I wanted them to boost my (non-existent) feminity. THe world really needs better karmic balances, man.
