My version of In the End, Maple style!

Some time ago, some guy rewrote Linkin Park’s In the End for Maple, which frankly was disappointing. A few word changes here and there, and he slapped “MY WORK” all over it. The central lyrics wasnt even that much different. In reality shows or soccer, I’ll probably go “My grandmother could do better!” since its just a figure of speech.

*Imagines his granny booting a ball into goal*

Moving on! But for this, I went “I could do better!”. And thus to back this claim up, my version of In the End, maple style!

Disclaimer: The author does not claim any responsibility for inconveniences caused such as incessant vomiting over this amateur piece. However, the author would like to point out the fact that at least its extensively rewritten, and the author was bored anyway.

Dedicated to the first snail I ever killed in Maple, on the road to sadistic genocide of cute little critters.

IN THE END, MAPLE STYLE! by Imppala, certified gaming nutcase

(It started with)
One snail/ I dont know why.
It wasnt even attacking, just passing by
Keep that in mind/As I tell this tale
To express in due time
All my guilt
Life is a valuable thing
Watch it run out as the sword or club swings
Watch the blood run down to the tip of the blade
The clock ticks life away
Its so cruel
Didn’t think much at all
Watch the blade go right through your body
Trying to understand/but didnt even know
This was all just a way
To get exp

I kept a memoir inside and even though I tried/It all fell apart
What you meant to me/Will eventually be one percent/of a bar that I

killed so much
To fill it up
But in the end
It doesnt even matter
Itll just go back
To be zero
So in the end
It doesnt even matter

One snail/I dont know why
It didnt matter that you were just passing by
Keep that in mind/As I tell this tale
To remind myself how
I took his life
In spite of my conscience and my integrity
Acting like I was God and you, my property
Remembering how you refused to fight with me
Im surprised it got so far
Things aren’t the way they were before
You wouldn’t even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me
In the end

I kept a memoir inside but even though I tried/it all fell apart
What you meant to me/Will eventually be one percent/of a bar that I

killed so much
To fill it up
But in the end
It doesnt even matter
Itll just go back
To be zero
So in the end
It doesnt even matter

I thrust my sword in you.
Pushed as far as it could go.
And for all this
There’s only one thing you should know
It was never anything personal
To fill the bar as I kill kill kill
And for all this
There’s only one thing you should know

I killed so much
To fill it up
But in the end
It doesnt even matter
Itll just go back
To be zero
So in the end
It doesnt even matter

Cheers,
Imppala

  4. Well, I was never normal to begin with, as Silver can and probably will attest to once she sees this. Meh, it was fine. But since I was still standing (sitting, actually, but you know what i mean), Ill probably try 63 hours next time, but not in the forseeable future.
