Squall has 3 Magic Guard, ~15 STR and ~ 12 DEX.
Ihduh has ~ 9 Magic Guard, ~ 20 STR, ~ 10 DEX.
I don’t have screenies, but I’ve seen screenshots of them. Unfortunately, I don’t know where to find them now.
Squall is a level 69 – 71 I/L Archmage, Ihduh is a level 7X Priest. Both are active players.

If people knew what we very experienced people know, then people will know that Magic Claw will outdamage Energy Bolt 90+% of the time, and will be more stable 100% of the time. I base this on the possible unconfirmed fact that defense takes damage off your total damage, not off each hit. If defense activated on each hit, then savage blow would be utterly useless.
Energy Bolt can knockback at the very least, and is a lot cheaper. However, magic claw is faster, has more range, is easier to hit with, more damage, and greater versatility, such as the ability to shoot through walls and obstacles.

He maxed Magic Claw to but had like 3 Magic Gaurd till lvl 60

Eh. I have this thing with perfection. I never do anything other than 4/4, and perfect skill distribution, although my skill distribution is frequently unorthodox.
