So, last night one of my buddies convinced me and another buddy to try the first part of the Zakum quest. (To get dead mine scrolls, I assume.) The very first part, with the keys and all the walking was okay, if not kind of annoying.
The second part, however, was a jump quest.
Jump quests and I do not get along. At all. It might have something to do with the fact that I’ve been playing MS since February and I STILL can’t jump properly when under pressure. Or not under pressure, even. As I have said many times while playing, I am extremely skilled at falling.
So I didn’t do the second part. Gave up after 45 minutes. *shrug* In the future, if I REALLY want to get to zombies I’ll either buy a scroll or WALK. It’s far less painful and far cheaper. read more

As you may or may not know, my sin, Garshack, is almost level 30. He’s currently wearing a brown bamboo hat which I plan to use to at least level 40. However, it’s now +2, with one 100% def scroll and one 10% def scroll, giving it 21 weapon def, 3 magic def, +1 accuracy, and +3 luck. I was just wondering: should I make the brown bamboo hat +7 with 100% weapon def scrolls and use it until level 50? Or should I get a +3 luck pilfer at level 40? read more

Okay, let me get this straight. I have typed below a guide for YOU if you’re going to create a new character. Here are some Do’s and Don’ts when you’re creating a new character.

Dos:
#1: Create something original. BUT, don’t make it completely random. ie. MysticSoup, PurpleHam etc. etc.
#2: Try to get a good stat roll. FORGET IT if you want a 14 INT mage to start off with, it took my friend half and hour to get to it. And in the end, he clicked too fast and it went away. =.=
#3: Don’t fund it too much. If you do, you’ll get tired and bored of it very VERY easily. I know as past experience. read more
