Well, I finally did it. I made it to 50.
*fireworks go off, along with a crowd cheering*
Some of you may be thinking, “lol, noob, happy that he got to 50”.
Well, I say…
Doh, can’t think of anything somewhat polite to say. And saying mean things on the internet never works, cause no one cares.
Anyway, though it has been 11 months since I started this character, I finally made it to 50. And no matter what people say, that’s an accomplishment to me. Why?
Man, it’s been a long time since I last made a blog. So much stuff has happened. I’ve got to try to remember it all.
First off, this.
Why that? Well, one, I’ve been watching the series, and it’s one of my new favorites (Hajime no Ippo). And secondly, I have had the urge lately to do a Dempsey Roll. Not on anyone specifically, just to do one.
Well, from the minor comments from my last blog, I discovered that no one really cares, and the only time people read my thing is when it’s a link on the recent blog list.
Whatever. I still like blogging here, so I’ll continue. And you can’t stop me! Mwahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

Anyhoo, since my last post, I’ve managed to exorcise the evil demon that was haunting my Gameguard, and got back into Maple, much to the joy of my guildmates (Cassi and Anna, I’m talking bout you!). Since then, I’ve done some rose hunting, finished some quests, and just hung out with my guild. I went on a few boat trips with my leader, StaticRain, and his crew for Crimson Balrog hunting. We finally ran into them, and Static took them down! Yeah! Too bad I’m too weak to get any exp from his awesometude.
I know what you’re thinking. “OMG not another ‘I hate Maple and I’m leaving’ blog”. Well, while it does concern me leaving Maple for a while, I don’t have any complaints against Maple. Or at least none that I haven’t come to terms with.
The reason I am taking a hiatus is because of Gameguard. Yes, the malicious little system that continually taunts me with it’s “error 114”, which in layman’s terms means I have too much stuff running on my computer.
Maple hates me. It just decided now to make it visible.
Yesterday, I played Maple, and it ran just fine. Today, however, I get the 114 error. I swept for spyware and I ran a virus scan. It still won’t let me play.
In retrospect, the only thing that has changed is that I installed an updated form of Java, and a programming enviroment, eclipse. However, neither of these things should have this major of an effect on my system. Any help from you guys?
So I haven’t written anything on here in a long time. Why? A few reasons:
1. School
2. Family
3. Laziness
It’s mostly the third one, but the other two count as well. College has been hitting hard and I’ve had to focus more on studying and working on papers and whatnot. Fortunately, finals are next week, so I’ll have a month off soon.
Hey, it’s me again. I just have a question concerning eq for higher level people out there.
As you may or may not know, my sin, Garshack, is almost level 30. He’s currently wearing a brown bamboo hat which I plan to use to at least level 40. However, it’s now +2, with one 100% def scroll and one 10% def scroll, giving it 21 weapon def, 3 magic def, +1 accuracy, and +3 luck. I was just wondering: should I make the brown bamboo hat +7 with 100% weapon def scrolls and use it until level 50? Or should I get a +3 luck pilfer at level 40?

Actually, why did I start with that? Probably nobody out there cares if I’ve posted or not. I doubt I’m even on someone’s friend list. You people only read this because it shows up as a new post, and when its gone from there, you never see it again.
But, anyway, back to what happened.
Wizet still hasn’t given me my old PIN number. Apparently, I haven’t correctly guessed the specific information that they need, and doing a shotgun approach as I did last time doesn’t count. So I decided to ditch that account and make a new character. It does suck, starting from scratch, but at least I can actually play.
If you read my last blog, you know what my current situation is. Without a functioning PIN number, my account that I worked so hard on is now unavailable to me. You might think that a level 33 sin isn’t that strong: I don’t care. I train at my time, usually in the not most efficient way, and it took me a long time to become this strong.
Well, I would be enjoying the new patch right now if bad things didn’t happen.
The game won’t take my PIN number.
At first, I thought I had just rushed it and messed up, so I took it real slow and made sure each was right. No luck. So I tried to change it. Apparently I can’t change it without the current number. Stupid thing.
So, I’m out of MS until Wizet gets around to e-mailing me my PIN number back.
