Crucified Combine?

Hello everyone! I’m wooshwash, I’m new here so be gentle. I’ll go by woosh or wash. Eiother way is fine
Anyways, I’m here to blog about my day on Half Life 2, it was a weird one.. This pic is one I took after the fighting subsided, it was WEIRD, the Combine was fused to the wall with his arms high up. Take a look. So yeah, I’m nto that far in the game but it’s fun so far =D

I’ve also a few questions too =P
I recently bought The Orange Box, and I’ve been having trouble Play Tema Fortress 2 and Portal. Everytime it loads, I go into a server/new game and the game stops working. It jumps out, and a window says hl2.exe doesn’t work. Anyone help? I even checked my anti virus stuff and I don’t wanna uninstall my nod32 and AVG.

May the woosh be with you,
wooshwash

  1. It does that to me all the time.

I just click okay and then click on the screen once. Remember to use windowed form.

Also, are you sure you graphics card and CPU processor fits the bill for Orange Box? I had to install it on my bro’s new computer to play it.

And MMO means Massively Multiplayer Online.

    EXACTLY, eh?

Well how the tugboat am I suppose to know that Half-Life 2/Orange Box on computer has multiplayer?

  3. zath: Yeah, I even double checked my computer specs to see what the problem was, I guess I’ll try your way

  4. Also I don’t get a window that says okay or something, I get the window for something that says this program has stopped working, and I can send or not send something to microsoft

  5. Welcome Woosh.

I have no straight idea how to solve your tech problem though. Have you googled for the solution or anything? XD

This sounds promising; general advice is to update DirectX and all other drivers.

But apparently some people haven’t fixed that even after they did all that, so. I have no idea. ><

  6. This is a pretty widespread problem, but not many are sure what on earth causes it. General advice, like Silver said, is to check whether all your stuff is up to scratch, like DirectX and updating your BIOS and Mobo.

It’s a pity you can;t play TF2, its oodles of fun. My fave is the PYRO. >D
