Well, since I got banned from HappyMapling.net, I havn’t had anywhere to post my story.. so I decided to post it here!

I write very short.. not that good.. and have made it nearly a month(Or more..) ago.. and only gotten up to 5 chapters.. anyway onward!

Prologue(I very much.. dislike the prologue..)

It was a dark and stormy night in Ellinia. But it didn’t start that way…

It was a normal sunny day as any in Ellinia, as a man came back home to his pregnant wife. She had gone into labor… soon they left for the local medical facility for her to give birth. But when the left they noticed a change in the weather, it was starting to get humid. As they walked and walked they felt drizzle hit them.

By the time the woman started giving birth, a thunder storm had struck. Screams arose as the woman gave birth, blah, blah, blah (we don’t really need to get into any detail now do we.. ;D )

By the time the woman had given birth to the child… she had died… and as the baby was born, the storm stopped. Everyone in the hospital questioned two things, the mother’s death, and the odd storm. They all said that she never even seemed to be in much pain. Soon the father of this child took him back to his home. Mysteriously, waiting outside his home was Grendel the Really Old. When the man questioned Grendel’s arrival he said,

“I’m here regarding the storm the night of your child’s birth..”
“Do you mean the storm that night?”
“Yes, it was no ordinary storm.. please, let me explain it to you inside”

Grendel, “You see, I know the two questioned things about that night.. that your wife wasn’t in much pain, that the storm stopped when your child was born.
Man, “Yes.. what about it?”
Grendel, “You see I believe your child is one of a prophecy.. the prophecy states that on the birth of a boy that will cause destruction, pain and death.. there is to be a storm to start when the mother is in labor.. and end when it is born.. and as you realize that is what happened.. and there is also the added bonus that he has already caused death..”

Man, “No! I refuse to believe it! My son will not cause any pain!”
Grendel, “Whether or not you want to believe it, I do. And I want your son put to death now, before he could cause anything.”
Man, “ NO! I will not allow it!

He stormed out of his home with his child, pushing Grendel over in the process. He ran and ran to keep his child safe. Ending up in Kerning City, he decided to make sure his child was safe, he would have to give him away. He set his child up for adoption and said his last goodbyes…

Chapter One

The boy in the prologue has been adopted and is now 15 years old. His name is.. Karuga.. Throughout his life his parents always noticed he had a bad temper.. and latley it’s been acting up more then ever.

We begin with Karuga standing there.. facing an Iron Hog, the monster he has wanted to kill for years.. on the verge of it’s destruction, Karuga throws a star at it, fire gleaming in his eyes in amazement that he’s finally done what he’s always wanted to do. At that exact moment, two blue claws appeared in the air scratching at the boar. As the hog collapsed Karuga’s star passed right by it.

Karuga: “What.. the.. F***!”

Karuga’s kill was stolen.. extreme anger pulsed through him as he ran towards through the magician, tackling him to the ground as well as punching him in the face.

Magician dude: “What the hell are you doing!”
Karuga: “I’ve been trying for years to kill an Iron Hog! I finally almost did and you come along and kill it!”
Magician dude: “*Snotty voice*Well sorry, but I didn’t see you”

Karuga still enraged beat the crap out of him. Soon after his father came at him looking almost as mad as him.

Karuga’s dad: ‘”What the hell are you doing!?”
Karuga: “He killed my hog!”
Karuga’s dad: “You can’t just beat the crap out of someone for stealing your kill! Now get off him and come with me. *Staring at magician guy*Sorry for my sons actions. He will be sevearly punished.”

As Karaga got dragged away by his shirt, he took a star.. and threw it behind him as a scream arose. His father looked behind him in shock seeing the magician lying dead on the ground with a star lodged in the back of his neck. He tackled Karuga to the ground.

Karuga’s dad: “Did you actually kill him!? DID YOU ACTUALLY KILL HIM!?”
Karuga: “*Grining evily*Heheh yeah, aint it great?”

He punched him in the face.

Karuga’s dad: “HOW COULD YOU REALLY KILL HIM!?”

Punching his father back and pushing him off himself, he ran away. And threw another star behind him.. He hit his father in the leg and kept running.

Karuga’s dad: “Wait!”

He made it back to Kerning City with extreme anger in him as he walked toward his home.

–Few hours or minutes or something later I don’t know..

Karuga sat behind his house waiting for his father’s return. Along with two can’s.. a can of oil.. and a can of gun powder..(Okay, so gun powder doesn’t really come in can’s just shut up!!)
When his father finally returned with a cast on his leg, it was Karuga’s time to put his plan into action. He lifted his can’s up and poured it all of the house, as well as slipping some through the window’s. When enough was set, he lit a match.. when suddenly voices came through his head,

“Don’t do it!”
“Do it!”
“Don’t do it!”
“Do it!”
“Don’t do it!”
“DO IT!”

He dropped the match and watched the line of fire burn towards his house.
More voices suddenly came through his head repeating at tremendous speeds.

“Stop it! Save them!”
“Leave them! Let them die!”
“Stop it! Save them!”
“Leave them! Let them die!”
“Stop it! Save them!”
“Leave them! Let them die!”

Karuga: “DAHHHHHH!”
He screamed as he turned and ran. He took a glance back.. as he saw the explosion of his home. Smoke, flames and screams rose in the air as his family was dying.
He grined evily. As he turned to walk away, the smoke filled the sky, and the same smoke also began to fill his heart.

Chapter 2

Karuga now having killed his family, is traveling to Ellinia to go to Orbis.. who knows what will happen when he arrives..(Dun dun dun!)

Walking his way through Ellinia forests, Karuga keeps remembering it.. he sees the forest as familiar, but not recognizable. Coming further and further into town, Kagura keeps seeing a man with a baby running through the forest’s. With too much going on in his head Karuga looses any attention whatsoever to what’s really happening. Being distracted from reality A Lupin suddenly jumps in front of Karuga. In shock he quickly returns into reality and throws a star at his monkey foe. The Lupin quickly dodges the star and throws a banana at Karuga. Having a flash of the man running through the forests once again, Karuga blinks and gets dizzy as the banana nails him in the forehead, leaving him lying on the ground unconscious.

–A few hours later

*Dreaming*

‘”No! I refuse to believe it! My son will not cause any pain!”
“Whether or not you want to believe it, I do. And I want your son put to death now, before he could cause anything.”
“NO! I will not allow it!
*End of dream*

Karuga wakes up panting. Viewing his surroundings Karuga has noticed a young girl sitting on a chair, sleeping, with an Evil Wings staff leaning against the wall behind her.

‘Where am I?’
‘Who’s she?’
‘All I remember is a Lupin, and then blank.’

The girl wakes up, and cheerfully says,

Girl: “Oh, you’re up!”
Karuga: “Who are you? Where are we?”
Girl: “I’m Maddie. I found you unconscious in the forest and brought you to my house.”
Karuga: “Thank you.”
Maddie: “You’re welcome!

As Kagura try’s to stand up from the couch he’s was laying on, he get’s dizzy and collapses. Maddie quickly rushes over to help him.”

Maddie: “I forgot to mention.. when I found you, you had a banana on your forehead.. you seemed to have been attacked by a Lupin. And the hit may have jumbled your head a little. You’re better off resting until you’re better.”
Karuga: “Okay.”
Maddie: “You don’t talk much now do you? You never even told me your name!”
Karuga: “Sorry. My name’s Karuga. I’m just a little confused right now. When I got attacked by that Lupin I kept seeing things in my head of some guy running through the forests.”
Maddie: “Hmm. Well don’t worry about that now! You’re, well somewhat injured. So you relax! You hungry!? I can make you some soup!”
Karuga: “That’d be nice.

She smiles at him and walks off.

Karuga: “You’re very cheerful.
Maddie: “Yes! Yes I am!”

As she says while she keeps smiling. Though she looses her smile a few seconds later.

*Sighs*
Maddie: “I have to stay cheerful.. my.. my father was in Kerning City when someone blew up a building. He was walking by it in the time of the explosion. And I never knew my mother, my father said she died when I was very little. He never said how though.”
Karuga: “I’m sorry.”
‘I killed her father..’

Maddie: “Here you go!”

As she says smiling once again, while holding a bowl of soup.

Kagura: “Thank you. How old are you that you’re living alone like this?”
Maddie: “I’m 16. And yourself?”
Kagura: “15”
Maddie: “You’re younger then me, you’re asking me how old I am to be living alone! What are you doing traveling the forest alone!”

‘Think! Think! Think of an excuse!’

Karuga: “Well.. the explosion your father got killed in.. it was my building. I wasn’t home when they blew it up.”
Maddie: “Oh I’m so sorry!”

‘Great.. now she’s got pitty on me.’

They both remain silent while Kagura finishes his soup.

*Yawns*
Maddie: “Well I guess I’m gonna go to bed”
Karuga: “Me too.”

Karuga pulls up the blanket lying at his feet, and Maddie leaves to the other room.

Maddie: “Good night Karuga!”

Chapter 3(Don’t really like this one so much )

Karuga is sleeping. But he’s soon in for a very rude awakening.

Sleeping on Maddie’s couch, Karuga once again dreams,

“No! I refuse to believe it! My son will not cause any pain!”
“Whether or not you want to believe it, I do. And I want your son put to death now, before he could cause anything.”
“NO! I will not allow it!

But suddenly Maddie come’s flying through the wall landing on her back next to Karuga. Getting woken up like that, Karuga is in shock.

Maddie: “Balrog’s invaded the town! I was helping fight them and well.. it obviously didn’t go so well..”

The mighty Balrog roars as he sends a shock of his evil lighting through the roof hitting Maddie. Maddie is knocked unconscious as Karuga quickly stands up. Wobbling from his dizziness he puts his hand on his head. Preparing to through a star at the Balrog,

Karuga: “My claw! My claw! Where’s my claw, she took my Meba!”

He quickly eyes the room searching for his claw while getting dizzier and dizzier. He starts to get a pounding headache as he see’s his Meba.

‘Wait.. I can’t even kill an Iron Boar how am I supposed to Kill a Balrog..’

At that exact moment the Balrog came flying towards Karuga. He puts his Meba on and trys to aim. He concentrates as the Balrog prepares to send another shock of evil lightning, Karuga throws a star strait into the eye of the Balrog as he roars, he is struck in his other eye by a Ranger standing upon the roof. The Balrog roars once again as the Ranger screams,

Ranger: “NOW!!”

A Crusader comes slamming his Heaven’s Gate at the head of the Balrog. The Ranger keeps firing his arrows at him, as the Crusader keeps slamming him with his sword. Finally the Balrog is destroyed, and both the Ranger and the Crusader approach Karuga.

Ranger: “Karuga right?”
Karuga: “How do you know my name?”
Ranger: “I apologize, I’m Sonus, a friend of Maddie’s.”
Crusader: “And I’m her friend Danurn.”
Sonus: “We know your name because Maddie told us about you.”
Karuga: “I see.”
Danurn: “You look.. bad..”
Karuga: “Oh rea–“

Karuga collapsed and was unconscious.

Sonus: “I’ll watch over them. You should go help everyone else outside get rid of the Balrog’s.”
Danurn: “Right”

–Like a hour later

Sonus: “Good thing we got here when we did. You could be dead now.”

As Sonus says, while staring at Maddie, as she and Karuga lie on her bed unconscious.

‘Oh Maddie.. no one knows how much I love you.. not even my best friend..’

Suddenly Maddie starts to wake up.

Maddie: “S-Sonus..wa-what happened?”
Sonus: “Well as far as I know, you got knocked out while fighting a Balrog.”
Maddie: “What happened t-to Karuga?”
Sonus: “Well he nailed the Balrog in the eye with a star, then me and Danurn came around and killed it.. then he passed out.”
Maddie: “What about Danurn?”
Sonus: “He’s helping others get rid of the Balrog’s.

Soon Ellina finally rids to town of the retched Balrog’s. And Danurn returns.

Danurn: “I got a scratch on my sword!!!”
Sonus: “You got plenty other scratches on your sword, what’s the big deal about this one?
Danurn: “Exactly my point.. I got so many more, and this is just another addition!”
Maddie: “You’re such a baby.”
Danurn: “Well then.. I wont fix your wall! And you know if Sonus trys to he’s likely to nail his hand to the wall..”
Maddie: “Oh don’t be like that! Just fix it!”
Danurn: “You can’t just.. I aint taking orders.. yeah okay..”

So Danurn fixed the wall.

–One week later

*Sighs*
Maddie: “Still unconscious after a whole week.”

As she says while holding Karuga’s hand in her’s.

Maddie: “Well, since you don’t seem to be waking up anytime soon, I’m going to bed.”

As Maddie left the room, Karuga mysteriously arose from Maddie’s couch.

‘Goodbye.. Maddie.’

Karuga left Maddie’s home and made his way to Ossyria.

–Morning

Maddie: “Karuga! Karuga!”

Sonus enters.

Sonus: “Yo.”
Maddie: “Karuga’s gone!

Maddie says panicing

Sonus: “Calm down!”
Maddie: “You’re right, you’re right.. KARUGA!!”

She grabs her Evil Wings and jets out the door to look for Karuga. Back at Karuga, he has just boarded the ship to Oribis

“We will begin the flight to Orbis in 10 minutes~”

When suddenly Maddie comes running into the boarding station still screaming “Karuga!” Karuga sees and hears so he ducks behind the side of the boat.

‘Crap, if she finds me.. I just may have to kill her later.’

Finally Maddie leaves, but Karuga can’t see so he just contunues sitting where he is. Eventually the boat finally take off and Karuga makes him way into the cabin. He notices a rope on the floor of the cabin.

–10 minutes later

Karuga is sitting in the cabin when he hears a thud coming from outside.

Karuga: “Oh no don’t tell me it’s Balrog’s.”

Karuga leaves the cabin to see if there’s Balrog’s, and to no surprise he sees two of them. He quickly shuts the door in hope that they wont see him. But soon he hears flapping wings near the door. He sticks himself on the wall and clutches star in one hand, and the rope he found early in the other. The door blasts open and Karuga sticks the Balrog in the eye with his star. Karuga quickly takes the chance and jumps on the Balrog’s back wrapping the rope around his neck. The Balrog trys to zap him with his lightning but Karuga jumps off just in time for the Balrog to hit himself.

Karuga: “Want more?”

The Balrogs saw his power and reteated.

‘Guess I’m better then I thought. The havoc I will cause will be greater then I imagined’

He thinks to himself as he grins evily.

Chapter 4

Beginning with Karuga, he’s just arrived in Orbis.

‘So think, what way’s can I cause havoc.. I don’t even have any supplies.. just my stars. I’ll have to go with plain old killing unless I find anything I guess.’

Karuga see’s someone going into a house and makes his way toward it. He sneaks up to the back of the house, grabs a rock, climbs up on the roof and throws the rock through the window to distract the ;lady inside. He quickly runs to the front of the house, jumps down and throws a star through the open window. A shriek of pain is heard through Orbis as the lady was killed. Karuga sees a flash and looks behind him. Someone took a picture of him standing there. Karuga had an evil look in his eyes as he approached the dude with the camera. But the dude with the camera ran as fast as he could.. but couldn’t avoid Karuga’s one simple star.

Karuga: “Well, well, well. Try to get me busted did you? Well it didn’t work out too well I guess. “
‘Wait a minute.. the camera! Where the hell is his camera! Oh crap.’

–Back in Ellinia

Maddie: “What could have happened to him.. Did he leave himself.. did he get kidnapped or something..”
Sonus: “Don’t worry about him.”
Maddie: “How can I not? I was starting to really like him..”
Sonus: “Well.. think about a puppy or something.”
Maddie: “…”
Sonus: “What!?!”
Maddie: “Nothing.. nothing at all.”

–Back in Orbis

Kargua: “CRAP, CRAP, OH F**CKING CRAP! I knew that camera was gonna bring me trouble.”

As Karuga says while looking at hundreds of wanted posters with his picture on them.

Evilly grining once again,

Karuga: “Well since there’s too many posters to take down, I guess I’ll just go with it.”
Some dude: “Hey, it’s the guy! I’ll get you! Fell the power of my Gladius!”

He charges at Karuga swinging his Gladius at his head, but Karuga quickly jumps over him, throwing a star below him then he looks up at Karuga. The star lands strait on his neck killing him.

‘Another one.’

Small group of people: “Blahblahblahblahblah”(It always sounds like that when a group of people is talking..)
Karuga quickly turns around to see the people, and reacts by throwing 2 stars toward the left, and 2 towards the right. Kill all four people he aimed for. The rest of the group screams and runs, but Karuga manages to strike 2 more people in their spines, knocking them over and paralyzing them. Then he continues by grabbing 2 more stars to finish them off.

‘Well, 9 kills is good enough for the day.’

–Back in Ellinia.. again

Barging into Maddie’s home,

Danurn: “Hey! Have you heard?! There’s this loon at Orbis who’s so far killed 9 people. And Sonus.. there’s a 3 million meso reward for him.”
Sonus: “Mmm.. looks like we’re going to Orbis!! And Maddie, you should come too, killing a maniac should get your mind off Karuga. Plus there’s the money..”
Maddie: “I guess I’ll come.. It really should get my mind off Karuga..”
Sonus: “And the money?”
Maddie: “Sonus, you’re the money lover.”
Sonus: “…TO ORBIS!!”

They make there way to the Ellinia station, but when they get there, there are a few hundred people waiting.

“All flights are booked for the next week. Please come back then and try again.”

Sonus: “If I don’t get my money.. I’ll have to kill someone!”
Maddie: “..Well let’s as they said, just try again next week.”
Sonus: “Pff.. fine.”

They all returned to their homes and continued on whatever they would do on any normal day.

–One week later

Sonus: “Finally! the longest week in my life is over!”
Danurn: “The flights shouldn’t be booked this time.. considering that guy has killed 22 more people. But luckily for us they raised the reward money to 8 million! You really like that don’t you Sonus? Sonus? Where’d he go..?”
Maddie: “He left really fast when he heard “8 million”.”
Danurn: “Figures.”
Sonus:*Muffled because of the distance from them* “HEY!! Hurry up before I leave without you!”

Maddie and Danurn sigh.

–In Orbis

Karuga: “Well at least the wanted posters did good for me, gave me more people to kill.”
Some other dude..: “Well now you’ve met your match. Lightning strike!”

Karuga is shocked from the lightning but quickly recovers and begins running circles are the obvious ice/lightning wizard.

Karuga: “Can’t hit me if I’m running fast, eh?”
Lightning dude: “I beg to differ”

He waves his Thorns staff and sends another shock of lighting at the running Karuga, it hits its target and sends Karuga flying to land strait on his face. He walks over to Karuga planting his foot on his back.

Lightning dude: “You thought you were invincible but–“
Karuga: “Come to the dark side Luke”
Lightning dude: “What?”

Karuga took advantage of the his distraction, grabbed his leg and knocked him on his back. Quickly getting up Karuga also kicked the lightning wizards staff away from him.

Karuga: “Oh but now I beg to differ, I am invincible. That dark side bit was just to distract you.”

After finishing his sentence, without hesitation, Karuga throw his star his the neck of the lightning wizard.

–At Ellinia Station

Sonus: “Even from all the deaths, I still expected more people..”
Danurn: “Me too.. at least more then 3..”
Maddie: “Well just get your tickets or I’M leaving without you!”
Sonus: “What’s with her?”
Danurn: “..You amaze me sometimes”

Danurn leaves Sonus standing there blindly. Then Sonus a few moments later finally moves to get his ticket.

Sonus: “Goodbye money.. I’ll miss you!”
Danurn: “You gotta get over that money problem..”
Sonus: “What problem!?!”

Danurn ignores him and goes onto the boat.

Sonus: “HEY!!!”

He runs to catch up, and they wait on board untill it’s departure.

Chapter 5

Maddie, Sonus, and Danurn have arrived in Orbis. But Maddie soon will see something very disturbing to her.

Sonus: “Whoa, no Balrog’s..”
Danurn: “Hey look! It’s that..”

He says while looking at a piece of paper he picked up from the ground. Then he shows it too Sonus. Sonus stares at it then quickly crumbles it up and throws it behind him.

Sonus: “Well let’s go..”
Maddie: “What was that all about?

She runs to the paper and begins to un crumble it, but Sonus snatches it from her.

Sonus: “You don’t want to see it.”
Maddie: “Why..?”
Danurn: “If you see it you’ll know why.. and that’s why you can’t see it.”
Maddie: “Fine.”

Sonus then tares it up to prevent Maddie from seeing it. They begin to make it further into the city. Sonus being an archer, has the best eyes, and with them he noticed dozens of other wanted posters.

Sonus: “Oh look another dead guy! Maybe this guy is to dangerous, let’s just go home! Right Danurn!?”

He then grabs Maddie’s arm and tries to pull her back.

Maddie: “What in the hell is wrong with you!”

She pulls away and runs toward town. Sonus and Danurn follow quickly behind her and try to catch up.

Sonus: “NO! You wont like what you see!!”

Maddie slows down upon seeing the dozens of wanted posters placed on the walls of Orbis, all with Karuga’s picture on them.

Maddie: “B-B-But Karuga wouldn’t kill.. he’s not that kind of person! It’s not true it can’t be Karuga is not a killer!”
Some old dude: “But I’m afraid it is true miss. I’ve witnessed that boy kill myself.”
Maddie: “But..”
Danurn: “Deal with it.. that kid is bad news.”
Maddie: “Then tell me.. are you still gonna try to kill him?”
Some old dude: “If they do, it will probably be for all the people he’s killed, right boys?”
Sonus: “Uhh.. okay? Aaaand–“
Danurn: “Don’t say it!”
Maddie: “I don’t know what to do now.. I came here to get my mind OFF Karuga.. but now he’s the guy we came here to kill..”
Sonus: “Well.. do you want to witness his death?”
Some old dude: “Now you are very self-confident. But I warn you to take precaution with you. I’ve seen this boy’s power, and he is very powerful.”
Sonus: “Pah! He’s just some stupid kid, if neither I or Danurn can take him alone, we surely can together.
Some old dude: “I’ve witnesses this boy kill 4 people with 4 stars at the same time, you are too cocky. I know exactly what will happen when you confront this boy, you will come thinking he is no threat, and he will easily take you out.”
Sonus: “Stop your babbling you stupid old man!”

He takes the cane he was leaning on and smacks Sonus in the stomach, then in the shins knocking him over as well as making him choke from the stomach hit.

Some old dude: “I was once a powerfull warrior. I will test you, if you cannot beat me, then you will let me train you.”
Sonus: “Even if you did somehow manage to win you old-ass, how would you train an archer?”
Some old dude: “I wouldn’t train you then, I have an old friend who was a powerful archer as I am a warrior. But if I do beat you, I’d be willing to train your friend here.”

He says while smiling at Danurn, who smiles back.

Danurn: “I welcome that sir.”
Some old dude: “Ah, I like you, you have respect unlike your cocky friend. So is it agreed then? A battle between you and me? If you lose, then you let my friend and I train you two, and if I lose then you are free to go about your buisness?”
Sonus: “Fine old man, but you’ll never beat me.”
Some old dude: “We’ll see. You 3 will stay at my house then? Unless of course you have somewhere else, and unless the young lady here is heading back to Victoria.”
Maddie: “Well I think I’m going to stay for now. And no, as far as I know we don’t have a place to stay.”
Some old dude: “Well then I welcome you into my home!”

–With Karuga

Karuga: “Heh, you’re so far the best I’ve faced.”
Assasin dude: “I look forward to detroying you.”
Karuga: “You make me laugh.”

Karuga throws a star but it’s countered with the other guy’s star. Karuga jumps and hurls 2 stars toward the other dude, but he quickly jumps away.

Karuga: “Hmm, this is ACTUALLY a good battle, never faced another thief before. Forgot how fast they are.”

They both throw one star each and counter each other’s attacks. But Karuga quickly runs toward him and throws a star while running. Dodging the star, the other guyis forced to stay still. And with that oportunity, Karuga runs up to him and punches him in the face with his claw, as well as knocking him on his back.

Karuga: “Well it’s been fun, but I’m gonna end this right now.”

He lifts his claw, and throws a star downward toward the other assasin dude. But right in time raises his claw and is able to block Karuga’s attack. Karuga angry by this, kicks him inbetween his legs.

Assasin Dude : “……………..OW………………”

Then as he finishes most his enemies, throws a star at his neck, killing yet another opponent.
