How do you level?

So, usually when people play Maple, to help them level they do a few things. Whether it be putting on a certain gear, or blasting final fantasy battle music to level up. I want to know what you do when you level – what’re your preparations, and the whole sha-bang. Obviously this doesn’t apply to all people, some people just level. Do you even go through any preparations what so ever?

Another thing is, when grinding, what kind of music do you listen to so that you can grind for a “longer” amount of time? Do you blast it? Or do you just listen to the music that maple story provides? (Personally, the music from maple story is a tad too calming at times – one time it’ll make me sleeping, another time that will be the only thing I will want to listen to).

Usually, when I level, it’s with a friend. I like having someone see me level. There isn’t much to my “prep.” for levelling. However when playing Maple and grinding, I usually like more… “fighter-style” music. A little metal, a little rock, punk-rock, pop-rock… that sort of thing. Something that is upbeat and gives that extra little bit of strive, you know what I mean? Black Eyed Peas “Pump It”.

    I have kanye west’s Graduation memorized (i think i’m obsessed, one of my favorite albums)

    even slow songs as long as I know the words help me train

  3. I blast some music (SR-71 Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, AFI etc. . .)

    OR I sing the PowerRangers SPD theme song! ^^ I lvled 20 times singing that song

  4. I just listen to Maplestory music because my computer would lag out and die

    I dun play MS anymore due to un1337 computurz. I gotta go get another one >.<

    It’s useless if he’s cocky :X But his songs pawns

    I like doing random things to level . And getting friends along helps lots too .

  10. I like how Kayne West can’t make a good background music. Jacking off Daft Punk, and his songs really suck in my opinion =/

    Techno podcasts usually work for me. AKA 7 hours of pure grind. Or, just rally up your favorite songs, put it in a playlist.

  11. For music, I just run my entire MP3 collection. It’s one thousand songs long, so yeah. And when I’m too lazy, I just run Maple muted. I’m fine with silence.

    As for grinding. I haven’t levelled since last December. >.>
