*sigh* Hello, everyone. Well, my first day, my first chance since winter break at finally getting back in Maple Story, is running out, and I still can’t get in. *sigh again* First, my last compy craps out, now this…geez, I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll get back in this game.

Still, I’m keeping my optimism alive, continuing to search for ways to get in. It sucks right now that I’m still sidelined, but I’m not giving up. I’m telling you right now, my latest bandit is my best performance in the game right now. I poured whatever free time I could spare into this character of mine, doing in just a few months something that I wasn’t sure I could do in half a year. Now I do have a real life of my own, but Maple Story is a significant part of it. It is a game that brings new things with it every time I play, whether those things be items, weapons, armor, levels, challenges, even friends.

Basically, I worked my butt off to get my bandit that strong, and I’m not giving up on it anytime soon.

Ok, with that said, I checked around for AVs. Right now, I know I don’t have Norton AV. I’ll keep checking around for any others. I do have Spybot, an anti-spyware tool. After scanning it, I fixed two problems, one being an AV override. I’m now going to check on the games again. Yes, I said games: I have both global and SEA. My current bandit is on global, and I’ll be working on him. However, I will be bringing a character(most likely a bandit) to SEA. Why?

I’ve made lots of friends on mmotales, the majority of them on SEA. I would like to “meet” and play with them. I wish to have fun with more than just one part of the world.

And Silver, don’t be surprised if my bandit acts like Jaysen every now and then. XD

Right now, I’m gonna see if my idea worked. Here’s hoping. In the meantime, if anyone wants to let me know of any other things to look out for that may ruin my MS fun, I’d appreciate it.

  1. *mumble* sorry I couldn’t be of any help. What is the exact error message from SEA? Maybe when I’m free, I could go search the Asiasoft forums for you.

    Do give me a poke when you manage to get onto SEA. I’ll go clear up my BL to add you. 😀

  2. Hey, hey, don’t worry about it. You did help in a way; I did get an idea from your suggestion. It didn’t work, but it was worth a try.

    The message itself says, “Unable to connect to the login server. Either you are not online or Maple Story is going through server maintenance. Please check MapleSEA for more info.” The problem is, I do have a net connection, and I’ve heard of nothing in the way of any server checks from neither SEA nor global. Thanks for your help in checking Asiasoft. I’ll do it as well in my spare time.
