Should the Viper keep Striking?

Greetings fellow maplers! That’s right, after nearly 2 months of hibernation, I, Tninja, have RETURNED!

Considering I’m unable to play MS right now, I thought I would never be back until I was back on the game. However, I’ve been chatting with friends tonight, and now I’ve been wondering, and I’m wondering if you’ve been wondering: should my fanfic, “The Viper Strikes Next,” continue?

I know this is my decision, but all-in-all, I just can’t really get a conclusion on the table. See, on one hand, I really enjoy writing fiction. Mainly the adventurous kind. Now, I haven’t written a whole lot, but I’ve written some, and I’ve read even more, and as I think about it, even though I’m not in the game, the fact that I have an unfinished(nowhere near, in fact) story hear is now starting to get to me. I’ve written this story that has received a nice string of feedback overall. When I wrote this story, it even gave me a great deal of confidence and enjoyment in my writing. It was fun back then.

On the other hand, however, I have no MS. Without it, a gigantic source of inspiration and ideas is gone from me, and I find it difficult to continue. Plus, I haven’t exactly done a lot of writing since I stopped my story, except for online RPs. Most of all, it’s been a great deal of time since my last chapter, and it could take a while for me to get any ideas I have back in shape.

Overall, however, I wonder if anyone else has enjoyed it. I know the great Silver has, along with some others, but I still wonder if I can get more attention from continuing, if I can really make this story something to remember.

Therefore, I’m asking you, readers of my posts: should “The Viper Strikes Next” be reunited with readers everywhere, or should it be considered simply a memory?

  1. Er, welcome back. I don’t think we have ever met. You should read this, which is the updated rules. I’m not sure, but someone said something about not discussing coming back to Maple / MMOT on a blog, or talk about Fanfics on a blog. That link should clear it up, though.

  2. Ouch.

    Epic strikes again! 😀

I thought twice about the video.
I think I’ll develop it a bit more, I got a lot under my sleeves.

  3. *pokes*
Just so you know, I’ll read it if you write it. 😀
But it’s really up to you. Don’t make writing a chore for yourself, it’s not going to help anyone.
