As they approached the final stretch of their escape, Night woke. His vision was blurred, and the bumpy movement jarred his focus.

Stars, hearing Night wake, ran into a corner, with Sam on his toes. He slapped Night on the face a few times, to help him fully regain consciousness.

Night groaned, dull pain searing through his body, his chest area in particular. He continuously felt slight sensations of touch on his cheek, and he opened his eyes.

He jumped suddenly, dull pain becoming more intense from the sudden muscle usage. He took in his surroundings, and saw his allies kneeling on the floor, where he just was, looking up at him.

“Are you alright?” Sam asks shyly, suddenly looking away from him.

“Yeah, should be now.” Night replies, flexing his muscles, attempting to get rid of his pain. “What happened?”

<Let’s just say you had a Spear lodged inside you for some time.> Stars said, partially avoiding the question.

Night felt around his body for signs of wounds and the Spear. He found none. “Where is it?”

<Somewhere in the castle.> Stars replied.

Seeing the inquiries going nowhere, Night just focused on the plan at hand : getting out of enemy territory.

Grimly, Night stared around again, this time to see which area of the castle he was in. He also felt around for the Omega Spear. He couldn’t find it, until Stars handed it to him.

“Oh, thanks a lot.” Night said, taking the spear. “We’re about 2 walls away from the outside, and we are on the ground floor.

<What does the amount of walls we have between us have to do with anything?>

“This!” Night cried, as he slammed his spear into the wall. “One wall to go.”

He walked through the hole, then jumped back through it as a barrage of arrows suddenly flooded the other hallway.

“HOLY CRAP!” Sam cried, as she grabbed two Kumbi, ready to fight.

Stars took out two Steely as well. <Nice going, leader>, he said with the largest amount of sarcasm possible.

Night just grunted, and pushed himself up against the wall, trying to be as flat as possible.

They waited for the enemy to arrive.

They finally came, with Dragon Knights in front, Rangers and Snipers behind them.

When the Dragon Knights jumped through the hole created by Night, however, they were greeted with steel and mana.

There were 36 Dragon Knights and 10 archers, but when the dust cleared, all the bowmen were dead, all of them pincushions for Steely and Kumbi. 3 Dragon Knights stood standing, most of the others had severed heads from the spear. They gulped, and fled, screaming.

Steely and Kumbi chased after them, finally pinning them in the spinal cords, paralyzing them permanently.

Night picked up a rock “Just to make sure that we don’t have another fight on our hands.”, he explained, as he threw the rock through the opening.

Sure enough, five arrows soared by. Night cursed. “How many freaking people are roaming in this hallway?”, he screamed, frustrated.

He clamped a hand over his mouth, however, as an arrow bomb soared past, then exploded somewhere nearby.

He saw another hole created by an arrow bomb. “Alright, here’s the plan. We go over to that hole over there. I’m going to yell something out again, hoping for an arrow bomb. The explosion should provide us with enough sound to cover our steps, and the dust should provide us with cover while I blow another hole in that wall.”

Stars and Sam nodded as they listened to the plan, then began walking to their destination.

“Oh my god! What is with the guards?” Night screamed.

As a reply, an arrow bomb whizzed towards them, but landed where Night had blown the hole.

It blew. Debris flew everywhere, dust wafted in the air.

They didn’t have to be told twice. Night jumped through the hole and Power Striked the wall as quickly as possible. Sam and Stars popped through and they jumped outside.

They pulled their scrolls out again. Read the incantations, and then freedom
