Trickster: An Awesome Game!

Click, Click, Click! That’s what Trickster’s all about =P

How I got into Trickster
(Sorry if there was a blog like this, and you already know about the game…)

I know a lot of you know about the game 3-D anime-like mmorpg “Trickster”.
The global version is actually still in it’s beta version, but man is it fun! Well recently,
my cousin told me to download the game Trickster, and he explained to me about the
game, the skill system, the jobs, etc, etc. So anyway…that was last week. I didn’t
download it till know, the fear of that it may turn out like Maple Story. EEK! ;o
It took nearly 2 hours of downloading. It’s a really large file! My com is slow, so it froze
a lot and disconnected me, so I decided to play it on my mom’s computer, which
she hardly uses. It worked like a charm, and I finally got started.

My Experience
I couldn’t think of what class to pick. There are 8 characters to choose
from, 4 boys, and 4 girls. The types are Power, Magic, Sense, and Charm.
So obviously, I chose a boy…(I’m not like those metrosexual haired guys
on maple story ^^ I decided to pick the sense type, which is an engineer,
who can use guns later in the game. What’s cool about it is every character
has a diffrent animal trait, and they start off with ears and tails.
There is: Bunny, Buffalo, Sheep, Dragon, Fox, Lion, Cat, and Racoon.

I’m a lion =P I went through the tutorial quickly and got free begginer equips,
then got transported to the beach. What’s unique about it is that you
have to buy skill cards to learn skills, then have the apporiate skill level/skill points
to learn it, then you can upgrade it, etc, etc. You have to be certain levels
to wear equips, yata, yata, yata. Time flew by as I fought my way through vicious,
angry little bunnies that seemed to be harmless. You level really fast in this game!
Well not very fast, but roughly about 2x speed. Especially if you fight monsters according
to your level, you can gain 10% in 10 minutes! Well it’s rumored the max level is 500…

Quests level you up insanely fast. It’s always worth it to do them. One quest
can level you up once, or maybe get the guage to really high. After training a long
time, I finally got the skill license to wield a gun, so I bought one…I even got
an above average gun from a monster drop…lucky me! It’s really strong too,
but reloading sucks. I made a new friend today too! He’s a raccoon (teacher)…
they’re good at defense and stuff. We trained a lot and did quests together. He
was funded, so we partied up and attempted to go to the dungeon and do a few
quests. It’s scary in there! Frightening music, the monsters are scary, they chase
you, and theres always the fear of losing your exp when you die! X3

Partying actually makes leveling easier! You even get more exp too…so it’s
your best tool in training. I just noticed today. They were overleveled, and since
the reload bar for my gun resets everytime i get hit, and my friend had lots
of potions and high defense, he would attack close and get hit, while I shoot
bullets at it…it makes it a LOT easier to kill them!

Before I knew it, 4 hours have passed! I’m finally level 16. It’s been three days.
I’m going to continue playing! For those who haven’t tried it and looking for
a new mmorpg to play, and you’re sick of maple story, like me, download this!
It’s really addicting! Lots of spells to choose from too! Just type in trickster on
google and click on Global Trickster. It has a cash shop that allows you to get
things permantely! There’s a way better gacha system too. I might get some
coins as I continue playing.

Make sure…
– You have a decent computer. If its laggy, then don’t try it. It takes up 2,000 mg space!
– You can wait 1-3 hours of downloading time without canceling it…it’s worth it.

Most importantly…there are two servers, Jewelia, and Fantasia. Play on Jewelia,
and add “BreakFire” to your buddy list! Haha well it’s optional, but I welcome
your invite! I have to be logged in though, which sucks. Anyway, thanks
for reading this blog, if you really did, and if you’re intersted in playing, hope you have fun!

~ Again…MERRY CHRISTMAS! Tis’ the season to receive presents ^^

  1. Lol. I remember that I typed a blog about how much Trixster sucks.
Then I deleted or some reason.

  2. Eh, I found Trickster to be an awesome game. I do believe I wrote a blog about it once.

I don’t think it was able to keep my attention for long though, since I played it when it first came out, so it was always laggy and full.

  3. lol its not laggy if u have a good com though. u level up too fast in the game for me to ignore it =o

  4. I’m just familiar with the MapleStory interface, so I stick with it.

    Besides, it’s pretty fun.

(Ignoring the fact that my friends would hunt me and rap3 me if I quit.)
