runescape vs maple.
no,they aren’t going go bish bam boom ad ms/rs goes down!
this blog is for,what you,the people think.
comment on what you think is better,and why.
the pros and cons which heavier weigh down the other in some sort of imaginary balance.
in my opinion,hm,shouldn’t say opinion first.
list pros and cons,yeah.

RUNESCAPE:
pros:
you learn money trade.the currency:gp.
fun!yeah,the quests have a real story behind it,and interseting.
the gameplay,choosing to be a pure warrior,pure wizie,pure archer,or mix up of all,or pro guy with all the above stats.
the skills;wc,mining,etc.
the humour:
“are you crazyyyy?what,you think this world is run by people using boxes and these animals you call “mouses” to control us?pure nutcase.”
the interesting graphics:whizz around.3dee!(does have a con)
you can’t be ksed!
CONS?*boo!*:
one thing everyone who doesn’t actually look at the game,but at how it looks.
like someone would say “what rs scks graphics sck.”
the grapics,you do tend to lag a lot.
and sometimes,you would sign out,without wanting to.
most probably due to graphics,and you lag out.
but you can also auto log out,because you leave your persona at one place.for too long.
i have no idea why.
it also gets boring,right?
not really,for the n00bs it does who don’t bother.
but,some parts,the boredom factor certainly rises.

MAPLESTORY:
pros:
it DOES build hand coordination.
you can type faster,suddenly.
you can jump.
yes,seems lame,but fun to do.{okay,i liked to jump that’s why i listed that}
taxes,blahblahblah.read what users had to say in my previous blog.
but i disagree in some comments,but,hais.nevermind.
leave them to their reverie.
appeals to asians mostly.
im not being racist,just,ah.
nevermind.
it’s a craze here in singapore now,not for me,but,still a craze.
not exactly has it’s tipping point out of asia yet.
average gameplay;the quests are kinda,uh.
no ideas,just,jump.
not like romeo and juliet,but,just jump.
kinda fun.
bore sometimes.
irritating,mostly.
CUTE MONSTERS!
okay,lame,but,cute!

CONS :
as much as most of you disagree,it DOES decrease your marks.
as you look at it,you realise every game decreases your marks.
but,this is kind of alarming.
it can make you stay up all night,and the next day,ZZZ in class.
yeah.
it’s full screen,so you take hours to reply the hi your best friend instant messaged you.
boring,after a while.
killing monsters takes hours of devotion,and a student can’t afford that.
the cash shop,is $10.50 per card here.
it costs a lot,and blows your pocket money whoosh whoosh away.
yeah,my friend is rushing me to post finish,so i will end my review here.
OVERALL:
RS:**** /5{my opinion lah}
MS:***1/2 /5
i prefer runescape.
so now,let the debate begin.

  2. Seriously, I get REAALLYY irritated by ppl debating comparisons between ms and rs, It’s like those crappy forums in mapleglobal.

    1. Damages have big numbers.
    2. You can scroll.
    3. There are party quests.
    5. You can log out during a battle.
    6. The animation of the attacks are superb. (Explosion so chio! I’m in love with it)
    7. There is no maximum level limit.
    8. There are cheap taxis, return scrolls, cheap teleportation etc.
    9. Experience is easier to part with over items when you die.
    10. You can summon monsters.
    11. There is a cash shop.
    12. Cash is easier to obtain than starting a paypal account to become an rs member.
    13. There are guilds.
    14. There are guild quests.
    15. I can play MapleSEA, which is mostly populated by Singaporean users who understand Hokkien.
    16. You can purchase x2 experience.
    17. You can purchase x2 mesos.
    18. The term mesos is so much more creative than gold.
    19. Larger inventory space.
    20. Easier to switch between channels.
    21. There are emotions.
    22. There are party skills.
    23. There is a marriage system.
    24. Trees don’t suddenly attack you for no reason whatsoever.
    25. There are megaphones.
    26. There is a /find option.
    27. Partying gives 1.1% xp and hs is a party skill.
    28. There is a fame system.
    29. Maple Story is not a browser game.
    30. There is gachapon.

    I’m sure that Runescape has its own pros but you sounded very bias for runescape in your blog, so I’ll do the exact opposite. Seriously, why can’t people just stop this whole debate thing?

  11. i like maplestory MUCH better but i remeber that one quest where the person broke into the bank

    and when he kills the npc’s the players go: OMG h4x!

    While maplestory simply tells them the price.

  14. I’m not saying that MS is definitely TEH OWNZ RS, but in a community with maple story as the central focus, these topics are not a good idea.
