Thanks

Well, thanks for the laughs and what not, I enjoyed posting here, it’s unfortunate the Global GMs are so corrupt and power hungry, the latest batch of updates have been exclusively to bolster money grubbing goals. This has resulted in widespread, and massive instability issues among no doubt many thousands upon thousands of users, myself included, the game stutters, falters, screws up, I’ve tried everything to fix it but I can’t, it’s the game, it is broken. So I finally uninstalled it after I logged on to see a plethora of new crap geared toward the instability-causing screen-rape megaphones, instead of getting rid of them, the GMs chose to further them and cause even more instability. The game has become so destroyed that the process wouldn’t even end due to faulty code. After nearly four years of playing the game, on and off of course, I’m done with it.

I got rid of all my Maple stuff, not being all dramatic or anything, just enjoyed posting crap here, so I figured I’d say adios, so, adios.

  1. Hey, you’re a pretty awesome dude. Sucks to know you’re not paying anymore. >: It seems unfair, yes, but they need to make money, and that’s the only way they do it. Leaving now wouldn’t be a good idea, because Showa Town HAS to come out soon, as well as the Thanksgiving & Christmas/Hannakuh events. You’ll be missing out, man. When these things get fixed, hopefully you’ll come back. Until then, adios.

  2. *shrugs* When it comes at the expense of the game’s playability and stability, they aren’t doing their jobs.

  3. , Thanks, no, they’re making more than a substantial profit off of the game, all together they probably have a revenue closer to a billion dollars, that’s USD, in Korea alone they make 200 million USD, and with the very limited staff they employ, that’s a lot of profit margin. They never fix their problems, there are issues with the game that date back to before the Beta that have never been fixed, and unfortunately that means I won’t be playing again.

Yeaaaaahhh. I hear that thrown around a lot, but it wouldn’t explain the. . . not-so-greatness of GMS in comparison with other versions. For example, when’s the last time we had a 2x ANYTHING event? While I hate to drag Msea into this, they have double drop periods every month (short, but at least they’re there). The Halloween event? Unless you had NX or found candy collecting a blast, not much fun. The upcoming Thanksgiving event? You’ll excuse me for being a little less than optimistic. Christmas event? Same thing. . .

    Ramblings of a pessimist.

I don’t think Msea has that halloween event, or that thanksgiving event.
