Lead us not into temptation…

So, way back when Tallidae was a lvl 35 or so cleric, she was invited at total random to help form a guild. She did, and stayed in the guild for a few weeks. During that time, a bit of an unspoken rivalry developed between her and the leader of the guild. (For lack of better titles, we’ll call him Stupid Idiot.) As Tallidae chugged along healing things to death, she was always a step ahead of SI in levelling. Eventually Tall and SI came to blows, sorta, and Tall left the guild. (More like Tall was tired of listening to SI brag about things. But she thinks he was trying to compensate. Later Tall formed her own guild, which one of SI’s chars joined but then quit because… well, we think it’s because she wouldn’t make him a jr. leader.)
SI makes a rogue character. Alright. When SI’s rogue is somewhere in the 30s (I don’t recall exactly what level he was, though.) Ginnova was created. SI swears by party-questing for levelling between 35-50. He says it’s much better and faster than just plain old levelling. (Personally, my opinion of the pq’s in general is less than stellar. If you want to stand around and listen to people yell at each other, declare that their other char is a lvl 90 sin or something, and basically have insult contests, then help yourself. I’ll just be over there killing things while you’re screaming about who has the track.) Disagreeing with SI’s notion of pq’ing being superior for levelling, I decided to see if Ginnova could catch up on her own. So after fire-arrowing her way through swarms of jr grupins and jr pepes and block golems and around 100 rombots (killing them is addictive), Ginnova caught up with SI’s sin at lvl 46. Ginn was pleased. I was pleased.
Continuing with my ramble… Being doubtful of SI’s character, I suppose that what happened next was bound to have happened eventually. This morning a little after 5am Ginn managed to jr pepe her way to lvl 47. She notices that SI is online, and is also level 47. Suffering from post-levelling boredom, Ginn decides to track down SI and point out that his pq’ing wasn’t so hot after all. For some reason, SI isn’t in Ludi doing pq, he’s in the burning lands V outside of Perion. Curious now, Ginn hops on the first boat back to Vic and searches SI out. SI hasn’t moved by the time Ginn tracks him down.
He’s vac-hacking. (And assumedly botting and doing whatever else that lets you suck monsters in and keep attacking them but not get hurt.)
To be honest, I’m not surprised that he’d lowered himself to this. It still really really ticked me off though. So I did the natural thing and… well, reported and defamed him a few times. I’m still angry at him about it, though I’m not really sure why. I know that SI is a self-congratulating jerk, but it still bothers me… I’m not sure what to do about it. :
To top it all off, tomorrow Lavi turns back into a doll. Blast.
