The Maple Story: Episode 17

Here is the 17th installment for The Maple Story. Hope you like it!

We all went to the house and we heard two people talking.

“Oh look, it seems as if Patrick’s back.” Someone said from upstairs. It sounded like a girl.

“Let’s see if he came back with all the stuff I told him to bring.” Another person said while running down the stairs. He was a guy that looked our age. He stopped when he saw us though.

The girl came down a bit after him.

“Who are they?” She asked.

“Guys I want you to meet my friends Kevin, Amy, and Eric. Kevin’s a bandit, Amy’s a cleric, and Eric’s an assassin. Guys, this is my friend Andy and his sister Megan. Andy is a White Knight and Megan is a Hunter about to become a Ranger. Andy and I have been giving her training from our personal experiences with our third job advancements.” Patrick said introducing us all.

We all talked over dinner. We were having a great time until a brick came flying through the window.

“GET DOWN!” Andy yelled.

We heard a car drive away with people hooping and hollering. Glass was everywhere. On the brick was a piece of paper attached. Patrick picked it up and read it aloud. It said:

We know where you are. You cannot run, you cannot hide. We will hunt you down. You will pay for what you did to us.

~You know who wrote this

“Who the heck are they talking about?” He asked in bewilderment.

“Yeah what is this?” Andy asked.

“Guys, I think I should explain.” I said sadly.

I told them everything. From what happened at Maple Island, to the academy, to what happened to my house.

“That Daniel geek is still making your life miserable?” Patrick asked. “Well he won’t when I get through with him.”

“Patrick stop, there’s one thing I left out. His parents are also hunting us down, and I imagine they have friends. There’s no way you can handle this.” I explained.

“Well, he sounds pretty mean. I guess I could help you guys find him and stop him from doing this.” Andy said.

“I can get the support of our guild to back us up.” Megan explained.

“Speaking of which, I see you guys don’t have a guild. Here take this.” Patrick said giving us ID cards to the guild. “We’ll hold a guild meeting tomorrow to tell the guild about you and your situation. I’m just going to run over to the Guild HQ and post a notice.”

“Thanks Patrick. You’ve been awefully supportive of us. I can’t thank you enough.” I said gratefully.

“Yeah, thanks so much for being this helpful.” Amy said also thanking him.

With the support of my friends and their guild, I thought that maybe I had a chance to stop Daniel and his parents. Unfortunately I was wrong…

There it is. I hope you enjoyed it.
