‘Green light!’ says the Flyff.

Oh, look! What’s that in the distance? A donut? A gamer? It’s that odd never-blogs-doesn’t-really-say-much-mod, Mip!

How long was it since I blogged about FlyFF? Almost a year, I do believe. Goodness, I’m suchan oldbie. >_> But, these past few weeks or so, I picked it up again, although without my sister, Ryeu. She had been trying to get me to play with her again for ages, but I had recessed from anything gaming, so I refused. So she quit and what happens? I come back again.

Crazy, I say!

But, apparently, no mods have replaced me here, (surprised, I say!), so here I am again, blogging about my Flyffage story. Since we last spoke, I continued on with my full-support route with my assist, rapidly growing to about 52 in about two weeks. The awesome thing about FS is that you can party with people about 17-19 levels above you, practically getting powerleveled. The downside is, it’s hard to find a partner (someone to follow around and heal/buff), since there are usually more FS than actual fighters there, so more than half of my time is just spent looking. Go me~

I won’t lie, the other downside is, as a full-support, future ringmaster, it’s hard to make friends. This game is hardly socially-oriented, unlike MapleStory. Although people won’t tell you to ‘CCPLZ.’ people will only talk to you if they want buffs, or if they want to sell something to you. Your goal is to find people to party with, and they’ll add you to their friends list so they can party with you in the future, but they basically just use you and leave you. You don’t really maintain contact after that. It’s not like MapleStory where people party only once in a blue moon, and those people can really become your friends. Only once in a rare occasion will a FS find friends in a party, but it’s not often.

But in the end, the reason I keep playing, is that I enjoy helping people. It’s still a good game, the graphics are good, and sometimes, just sometimes, you’ll see nice people on there. Maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places.
I apologize if this blog is rushed, I was scanning through, with work in less than an hour, so I decided to toss something quick into the melting pot.

Well, this is Mip, signing off! If you’ve got a character on Aibatt, drop me a line at my usual username. >w> (Take a guess?) Or just post and tell me what’s new!

Until next time!
~Mip

(MaskOfSmak still pwns you, forever.)
(Wait! What blog of mine is complete with out the long awaited cued music!)
(Random later on snibbit: Did anyone noticed how Cappie-chan has apparently abandoned this site? >> This may be just me, but he frequents and chats with people quite often in Profil3 and Basil. Maybe this is just the awkward middle child, ne? Well, I like it here best, because almost everyone is awesome.

  1. Kblargh, Aibatt. Where have all the Mia-ians gone to? D:
(I know where Des, Shatred, Imppy, Piat and people have gone to, but still. >>; )

Anyway, the return-to-FlyFF bug has bitten me too. (4 levels in three days, whee.)

    Glad to know you’re alive!

  2. I have a feeling that I’m about to get shanked. D:

Err, Flyff~ I deleted it even though I was doing so good! I mean, I got to level 31 in about 2-3 days! I just lost all interest in it when I couldn’t get on for a few weeks. Maybe I should install it again

  3. See, Steve! Cheeze got to 31 in 2-3 days! He goes faster than me! SEE! SEE SEE SEE?!?!

Zomg zomg, you’re on Aibatt? KEWLIO.

  4. Yay GO AIBATT! I have an assist too, lvl 44. AutumnTwilight is her name. I also have a guild I could add you in if you like, a couple of MMOTers (LunarPanda and MikuniZer0) are already in it.

I’ll start playing again after the 30th.

  5. The bug bit me too, and I power-leveled. That means I gained two levels.

You know, it’s nice to see you blog again, Mip, especially about FlyFF. You are, after all, the one who got me playing it! Not sure where that music came from, nor its importance to this blog, but me likes it.

  6. I have no idea what are the benefits of FlyFF.

Seems sorta weird to me, I mean, the whole concept of flying for fun is just. . . blergh.

[Sorta rude, but that’s my opinion, and by the graphics and details of the game. . . it looks sorta blotchy, with monster’s rear sticking out of the screen. And when I read that it’s a barely sociable game, doesn’t that mean it’s like Maple Story? Zombies that level like crazy with help of party buffs, and doesn’t care that it’s supposed to be somewhere to have fun?. . . = ]

That’s why I quit both Runescape and Maple. XP Well, only on Maple for special occasions.

    *gets pwned by teh mask*
