Now this experience was so bad, I actually quit Maplestory for a while after this had happened. For all of you readers out there that have either crush rings with a girl or even married, how well do you know your spouses/girlfriends?
Let’s go into my past and the horrific event that has left me scarred for life.
In the Scania server, I had a cleric(abandoned). Nothing too special. I had good friends, perfect stats. And was fairly well off. Plus, I had gotten a crush ring with a long time friend of mine whom I knew since Maple island.
The relationship between my girlfriend and I was good. We were good to each other and very affectionate. After about 4 months after I had gotten her a crush ring, I started thinking about marriage.
I put the thought in her mind, but I was surprised to find her quite passive to the idea. I didn’t know whether she wanted to get married to me or not, but I certainly didn’t oppose the idea.
One day, as I logged on, I immediately got a chat invite from my girlfriend and soon-to-be wife (or at least I hoped so).
“What’s up babe?” I asked. She paused for a second before replying.
“(Insert my real name), I have something to tell you.”
“Hmm? What is it (insert her real name)?” I inquired.
“Umm, I don’t know how to tell you this but,” she pauses before continuing, “I’m not a girl. I’m actually a guy.”
