I’ve decided to come back to Maplestory tommorow. Or on Sunday. Whenever I have time.

Why, you ask?

Cause today I’ve realized something that I should have a long time ago when I rejoined Gaiaonline.com.

Their community, no idea why I didnt realize this before, is deteriorating from a low 30-40% of ignorant flamers, to an all time, high, possible 90.

I decided to do an experiment on Gaia’s tolerance. If it was to a ridiculous level, I would leave. So I typed “Anti-Gwen Stefani”, along with a picture of her in my signature, and everyone implodes with PM-confetti, telling me that they loved her. It was only a simple picture, with a one-liner.

I almost smacked my head at the ridiculousness.

But I was like “no, no, its just the nooblets,” I assured myself. So I placed a rant about Gwen in my profile(I was curious if that would shut them up or provoke them more), and told people to Comment, not PM. Out came Comment-silly string and PM-confetti.

Over the days I added more stuff to my “Gwen section”, even including a bit of fine print that stated my experiment(I wanted to see if the flamers would read it or ignore the text and jump to conclusions).

According to a few of the flamers, I was obsessed with Gwen. Okay, I was fine with it. It was part of the ‘study’ and those comments werent a big deal.

Then.

Today I checked fanfiction.net, and found an anomynous user under the name “Gwen Stefani”. Vandalizing my reviews.

And that pissed me off more than anything else had ever did.

I decided right there: Study closed. Gaia’s a failled community.
