She Stood

She stood; a child of the hammer.
The calling of her ancestors to strong to ignore.
Each print in the sand harder to fill than the last.
She stood.

She stood; fighting for her own
Sweat, blood, tears
Paving her way to greatness.
She stood.

She stood; the lover, the friend
Protecting the weak and fighting for good
Giving more than one person should.
She stood.

She stood; a Warrioress
The final battle has yet to begin
A pillar of justice, her hammer in hand
She stands.

  1. Warrioress? First time I heard that title. XD

Nice poem, even if it doesn’t rhyme.

  2. Yeah. Lol I don’t rhyme too much. I wanted it to be more powerful than rhyme-y
And Warrioress? Yeah. Super word, I love it.

Maybe it’s supposed to be freestyle?
