Soul For Sale!

Meh.

That’s the word of the day peeps.

Anyways, before we begin, I disclaim everything but nothing incriminating here belongs to me, unless I want it to, then it will.

Okay, the minute hand just reached 12. Time to start teh blog! (yes, I like doing that teh and meh).

A lot of ————————————————————-

Okay, now onto the main issue of the day:

Soul For Sale!!

Does the header work? Tell me after you press the like it button.
Now, I recently have become very bored of MapleStory. The constant grinding/Pqing/whole concept of nothing but leveling has finally got to me. Me, at level 67, only 3 levels away from CB. But my resolve, which wasn’t strong in the first place, was shattered by this thing on MapleTip: link
Seriously, look at it.
Please?
Okay, I request you to look at it.
After doing that, I now order you to read it again.

So basically, the little motivation I had to play MapleStory was pretty much shattered. Happy days, happy days! Now I’m not chained the MapleStory, and my soul is free to look for new, fun games!
*Nexon has lost 1 soul: ipod123432.
So I looked around for a new game. Of course, a person like me could find new games as easy as peas in a pie!

Yeah, I can’t find new games easily enough.

Anyways, I’ll list/explain my choices.

First we’ll start with a game many of you will know. Or at least of heard of. It is called…

FlyForFun

FlyFF for short.
Gameplay=okay, but same concept as MS. I was ready to screw that over.
Graphics=also okay, but not the top-notch I am looking for.
Community=still okay, I don’t know much, but it doesn’t really seem that open, or closed.
Overall=FlyFF is an average game, an okay game, but not a really awesome, eye-opening game.

Next up:

Runescape

Okay, fir…why am I talking about this? I already pledged to never return. *ditches*

Eh, where were we?
Oh yeah, Warcraft III’s Battle.Net

I have Warcraft III (CD) and it comes with its own Battle.Net, which is basically its best feature. The thing that draws me here is the randomness, and the custom maps. And oh, the awesome graphics! Did I mention the awesomeness of custom maps? Mauls & Sheep Tag FTW!!
Pity I already got bored of it. Not enough consistency, and my body is still chained to MMORPGs. So *ditch*.

Wait, There’s That Other Game Nexon Made!
Really? What was it called?
Mabinogi

Okay, frankly I didn’t expect too much out of this. At first, I only played because many on MMO Tales were advertising it, and I wanted to make another blog. So I installed the client, and opened it up. Gameguard ran, everything went black, Nexon’s logo came up, and then…I was hit with a fascade of awesome graphics.
Seriously, frickin awesome graphics. And there was this nice statue too. And don’t even get me started on that music.
Compared to MS music, it pwns. Heck, compared to most MMORPG music it pwns. The music is a part of Mabinogi like 2H swords are in Maple. It’s great.
Still stunned, I mechanically logged in, and created a guy named TEHPod with Emo hair on the Tarlarc server, and pressed start.
‘Connecting to Server.’
I was expecting a ton of awesome stuff to appear when I logged in, but that’s not the case. All I saw was a blank platform.
‘Wha?’
Then this Nao person came, gave me some bread, gave me instructions, and warped me to this place filled with hens. I also got a sword. Everyone gets one. Its name is always Eiry. A girl stuck in a sword spirit split across all the people in Mabinogi. I pity her.
Anyways, you can talk to her by pressing the wings in the bottom right corner of the screen. I suspect she is an angel, with a somewhat terrible fate as an angel.
Oh yeah, and you can do a ton of stuff, like get eggs from hens! Except they break after a while. But the best part hadn’t come yet. When I pressed the button in the bottom-left corner to see if I could get some sort of ‘options’ tab, I came across this amazing option that still astounds me to this day.
To use it, press it or do ‘Alt+Enter’ It will go into WINDOW MODE!!! OMGWT.FMA7ETH15RULZ!!!!
Sorry, I went crazy with delight. In fact, as I type this, I have Mabinogi on Windows mode right now.
It’s a sneak player’s dream.
Anyways, I talked to Duncan, he said a lot of stuff, but always said the same stuff after I clicked the ‘Skills’ option 20 times. I think he got to know me quite well.
Oh, and you don’t really need to worry about leveling. Just do quests. After talking to Duncan, he told me to go to Ranold or w/e that guy’s name who is the training teacher at the school is. I talked to him, he said ‘hey, GJ!’ and LEVELED ME TO LEVEL 5!!! An hour’s work, and I was already acquainted. I was beginning to like Mabinogi.

So it was decided. My soul was once again sold to the Nexon Dominion.

Wait for BF2!

BF2=Battlefield 2. The best game in my opinion, though I’m not sure it would qualify as an MMORPG. Anyways, I would do this…but my parents have locked it up somewhere. =(
I feel so very sad.
Can you guys cheer up a fellow MMO Taler by pressing that Like-It button down there? Please?

~Pod

  4. OMG, Mabinogi is sounding too great now
Everyone is like it’s awesome and stuff
I might, might, might install it! MIGHT!

Usually, I quit 3d mmorpg’s really soon cause i have terrible lag in them
~LaZzz. . .(some day, dont really wanna get started now b/c im too busy!)

  5. Well, I have one thing to say, Some people think that Maple is hardcore leveling =o.o=
    -Google’s Silkroad Online-
That game is hardcore! o.o How do i know?
NO party quests for extra exp,
NO character emotion (Im comparing a few things from Maple)
HARD leveling system (Almost forcing you to do quests)
and if ur playing on global, freaking thieves,
    =LEVEL 20 TRADER= (weakest trader lvl)
-Walks down a road, and spots a thief-
-Little does the noob know that the thief is lvl 90-
    -Dies one shot-
-Tries to go through same route, hoping the thief left-
-Thief was stalking him, kills him again-
-Hunter tries to protect the trader, and he’s lvl 30-

So, in the end, Silkroad is hardcore and is laggy in global (maple lag is nothing compared to it) and theres always botters,
    Maple botters X 1,000,000,000, = Silkroad’s botters (i meant bot’ers or watever)
well good nitez anyway, 2 A.M

    JHK~

    P.S. i bet no1 lieks me =[ (in mmotales)

Well, hey I made my first blog the day after Christmas last year. And I never got to level 20 @ Silk Road.

  7. And there’s always soldier front, Shooting noobs and watching them scream “WALLHACKER AIMBOTTER U SUCK MONKEY NUTS” is something I just can’t get over. ^_^ GL at BF2 though, just 1 warning. A purple heart is NOT a good thing. It may seem great since it’s a medal, but it’s actually saying you have a kill death ratio of less then .5. Just a warning.

  8. ouch. . .that post thing said it all! good hting im not as addicted before ima ctualyl getting good grades and making friends and not hearing the maple music run through my head in algebra 2 class! wooot =O

-has played WoW and its fun but not addicting-
    -goes to play mabinogi- =D
