The Warrior

Hey guys, this is a poem that i made, tell me what you think. Don’t flame me please.

Across the ravaged lands,
Covered with the blood of men,
Walks one, whose head is bowed,
With blood dripping from its side,
He was a warrior.
Much time has past,
From first he set away,
From his home and lands so dear,
A traveler whose hands were stained with blood,
Of who the people feared.
Walking and walking the warrior kept moving,
For the veil of war was on the land,
Each monster he killed he lost his soul,
As it called out for more,
He became a beast of lore.
For there was no happiness for him,
He had lost it all,
When he went away,
The enemy burned it all,
Alone was the warrior.
Now in the heat of battle,
His eyes show his soul,
Sadness and anger,
The lust for revenge,
For all of those he loved.
As he walked his head down,
He felt this was the end,
The blood dripped from the side of his head,
Making a sound upon the ground.
The warrior lies down in the grass of a meadow,
And stares at the silver moon,
His eyes grow heavy,
His limbs go limp,
The warrior’s life has ended.

Tell me what you think.
