Short stories.

These two short stories are dedicated to you Gina, for calling me stuff that I have no idea what the meanings were.

Puppydog Lover.

A little puppy was jumping around the house, all alone, he was like that every day the puppy would wait for his mistress and then when she finally comes home he would play with her. But his mistress usually comes home rather late, at least for a puppy, she had to eat and shower when she gets home though, so they have even less time to play.

But the puppy was still very happy whenever she came home, jumping at her and licking her face while she giggled and tried to push him off. He wasn’t a very big puppy though so it wasn’t that hard, he’d just run around her and bark playfully at her as she went to take a shower. Like the good puppy he was, he sat in front of the bathroom’s door and waited for his mistress to come out.

When she’d come out, she’d pat his head and go to the kitchen to make something to eat, the puppy following her every step. Again, the puppy would just sit next to her chair and eat his own food as well and when his mistress finishes eating he’d start wagging his tail, waiting to play.

And for hours they played, they played until the puppy was too tired and had to go sleep, though on some day the puppy would play less because his mistress came home later. And it keeps on going like this, every day, the same thing for the little puppy waiting for his mistress.

Lovebirds.

A green lovebird was flying around, his green wings flapping franticly as he finally reached the top of the tree. He just stayed motionless there, just moving his eyes and looking around at everything that was happening around him. Something caught his eye though, a pretty, blue, female lovebird, he flew towards her and landed next to her.

She looked at him out of curiosity, he looked back at her and started singing to draw more of her attention. She seemed to like the way he sung, he sang an even more beautiful melody for her and she liked it. He was happy and he started to follow her around, they flew around many places, always together.

They were always together, whenever you saw one you saw the other, but whenever the green lovebird looked away the blue one would go around doing anything it feels like. Often, when he’d wake up he’d find himself all alone, he then ends up having to look for her and finding her after a short search.

Yet the idea of leaving her for a more ”stable” mate never occurred to him, he loved her and that was all that was important. Whatever happened, he never left her side, he always stayed with her wherever she goes. Such is the life of lovebirds, it can be described in one single, simple word that most, if not all of us, know, that word is…

Love.
