Devvy loves Plvling

My love, I have finally found another reason to cherish you. My affection already knew no bounds and with this, it knows negative one ones. I wish to perpetually care for you and further strengthen our mutual bonds. When the right time arises . . . I do.

Meh I’ll cut the mushy crap and get straight to the point. I so absolutely spiffitastically just
First there was flying, then gianting and now power levelling! Yay!

But let’s not rush shall we? I’ll trace back to the start.
It began as a gloomy day. The skies were dark and overcast. Abnormally dark during the day, to be precise. Rain continuously pelted against the muddy ground. Carefully, I trudged across the dark earth in gradual advancement. It stained my shoes stubbornly (o.O) and I could not help shivering in the cold and bitter weather. Then all of a sudden,

I thought, ‘Hey what am I doing in Darkon? I should be in Saint Morning! Oh crap!’ I then remembered that I had been trying to kill Lord Bang the day before, but at level 38 it was practically impossible. Hmph, so much for my hard efforts all in vain.

I then reluctantly flew back to the Land of Crappy Battle Music, cutting through the Land of Even Crappier Battle Music as a stopover. Personally, I only really like the Darkon battle music and that of the Mas Dungeon. The one from the Land Which Looks Like the Wilderness in Runescape gives me a very futuristic feeling and livens my mood, along with my clicking speed XD
And for that of the Mas Dungeon, there isn’t even battle music at all! But of course not alternating between two pieces can be very lethargic. Take Maple Story for instance. I trained at Bone Fish from level 79 to 88. One more time I hear the music in the Aqua Road Dungeon and I’ll rip my own head off.

Back to the point. Let’s not stray here! Anyway, despite all the dying from Lord Bang and forcing a poor level 60 Ring Master to resurrect and buff me one too many times (I won’t lie =S), I found myself at 85% and quickly levelled to 39 at Card Puppets. It was followed with my attainment of 30 clockwork hearts, which is just enough to complete the office quest once I can start it. Or so I thought. Pardon my bluntness =P

As I never train on mobs which give me treasure chest items I do not need, a subsequent check of FlyFF Fan Site lead me towards the Garden of Rhisis. The first thing I noticed was the music, which was the same of that of the Mas Dungeon’s. Wait a minute, I was supposed to stay in the Garden all the way until Pranksters! If there wasn’t a battle music I was doomed. . . *inserts bad music* Naw I wouldn’t want that. *Shudders thinking about The Rapture* Now that’s truly horrible music!

The surroundings were basically architecture ruins, bringing about a moody environment. I confidently charged at my first Small Tombstone Bearer in aggression, but a critical of 400 on me had my mouth gaping. To add to the grimace, the music shifted to that of Saint Morning! No way I could train on them, they were too strong and the music too overpowering! I’d be raped of my food and my sense of hearing damaged in a second. Daylight robbery! So I decided to take on the scorpions there, which were also 43, hoping they would be weaker as they were just bugs.

Boy was I in for a shock. Their first hit landed 350, and a 600 critical on the second. I recuperated and ran. The Garden of Rhisis homes thieves! Dirty-minded thieves, I tell you!

But luckily an online buddy came to my rescue. He was a level 56 mercenary and always badly needed an assist to buff him. The moment I saw the box rising from the bottom right of the screen with his name in it, I promptly opened a chat box.

Me: Hi!
Him: Oh hi.
Me: Need an assist?
Him: Need a free power level?
Me: Yeah.
Him: Yeah. Meet me at drillers.
Me: So um, where are you?
Me: =D

Looks like things were already going my way! I didn’t mind flying back to Darkon this time round.

I scouted the dark lands a bit before dropping off at the monsters who couldn’t stop twirling their things. I had already spotted him and proceeded to invite him to my party. He quickly declined and invited me instead. What’s up with that?

We then started battling some Captain Drilllers. (‘We’ because my haste, beef up and cannon ball almost doubled his training speed) He only requested for my buffs, but me being a nice guy, I decided to take the liberty to heal him with my level 3 skill -.-

After awhile I crawled up from 5% to 50% when a Giant Driller spawned, along with that grave music. It was rather appropriate, but sometimes it wasn’t. I mean, why the music when a Giant Mushpang appears beside me? It isn’t even aggressive, to start!

Back to the topic. We kinda agreed that attempting this boss was thrilling and decided to go on with it. But now that my head is clearer, come to think of it a level 39 and 56 going against a level 63 giant is no external help whatsoever is just plain wrong.

To make a long story short, both of us died >.>

By then my friend had to go, so I flew back to drillers on my own when someone invited me to a party. Intrigued, I clicked the accept button and viewed the party’s status. The first thing I saw was a level 58, followed by a level 109 leader. Wow.

It turned out another AoE assist nearby wanted my beef up and pathetic healing, so I gladly took this chance for another free power level. He was faaaast.

From each mob he mass killed I gained 9% to 15%, and that was gawdly (drools). In no time I sped up from 48% to 90%, then levelled up. Hurrah for 39! I then stayed a bit longer and we moved on to volts until I had reached 50%, before he died when another two Captain aggros decided to join the brawl as he was casting burst crack on the already existing five.

By then he had also levelled once and was contented, unlike some guy we all know. *Shifts eyes accusingly at xShadowSinx*

So that marked the end of my power levelling spree. But boy was the training fast! He actually pumped me a whole level in less than thirty minutes. I am in awe.

I guess that marks the end of my day, no? Satisfied at my progress, I hovered my mouse over the ‘quit’ button when:

Friend: Hey do you need Kalins? (The etc drop of Totemias)
Me: Nay, I already have 30 =D
Friend: Well you need 35, if you didn’t know.
Me: o.O
Me: Yeah I need them.
Friend: Haha I just wanted to check your reaction. I don’t have any myself either LOL

That guy was mean! Still, it was nevertheless an excuse to level up, so I took it. This time I hastily bought a Saint Morning blinkwing and blinked back (o.O). Looks like flying ain’t so fun any more >.>

Somehow etc drops become uber alarmingly rare if the monster I’m fighting isn’t at least 2 levels above me, so I had already gained 25% from Captain Totemias by the time I had hunted five Kalins >.
And somehow I only needed to kill enough to rise to 85% before mercilessly looting five hearts from Manager Card Puppets.

I then used another blinkwing (Blinkwings make the world go round! XD) to return back to Sain City, whereby I levelled to 40 by finishing the quest! Yay! I bought my new knuckle and clothes in excitement before finally calling it a day in FlyFF, until. . . Nah my friend had logged off by then.

Tomorrow I shall further progress on TombStone Bearers, while allowing my poor brain to be brainwashed by this screen in the process. Yeah I’m becoming an addict, just like how Maple enslaved me, by hey, at least I’m proud to be one. Addicts unite! We shall rebel against those prejudiced against us!

Oh since you all were such good little readers, I shall present you with screenies! Cookies will come later.

Picture One
Some glitch maybe? It says . . . 49 days, 17 hours, 2 minutes and 47 seconds. Gee I wouldn’t want to be stunned for that long T.T

Picture Two
The kind soul who power levelled me. By the way if you can’t see clearly, there are five volts there, which means 4.3k damage in total =D
I have yet to see a level 56 do that much.

Picture Three
My party. You wouldn’t want to be messing with them XD

Picture Four
Level up! Oh glorious forteh!

So sum up my blog with a touch of debate, today I have shown you that:
– Power levelling rocks.
– The Garden of Rhisis Sucks.
– Power levelling rocks.
– Annikabelle takes too many screenies.
– I’m gonna phail at debate if I end my speech like that.

And yeah, I guess that pretty much concludes my blog. Bye!
*Deliberately tries to forget ever agreeing to letting you have the cookies*

PS: MMOTales should really consider accepting more picture file types. The fact that I can’t change them to JPG or it’ll make my picture look atrocious sucks cause Imageshack takes a lot more time =(

Oh my god. I only took 11 in two weeks!

  4. Congrats on levelling! Hehe, I love being plvled too, sometimes. But if you do it too much you start getting bored of the game fast.

Ya, that glitch has happened to me too. Sometimes it resets itself so it reads the correct time. If it happens with buffs I forget it’s a glitch and get all excited. “Zohemgee! 50days of haste!” haha. Someone told me once why that happens but I forgot. :S

Yeah now I can’t train without someone to power level me. T.T withdrawal symptoms!
