After Nami’s encounter with Kuroki, she couldn’t seem to put her mind at rest about him. Today, while she was standing in line in the dusty Potion Shop, the Clerk had to call her 3 times before she snapped out of her dream. And while she was training today, she suddenly stops as Kuroki’s handsome face crowded her head. As she was continuing to daydream, a Horned Mushroom poked her hands with its Horned Cap. Nami let out a whimper and attacked the annoying Mushroom.
Nami sits down on a petal within the Southern Forest as she rests herself. She looks out of the exit to see the orange Sun setting as dusk was approaching. Nami rests for a few more minutes before thinking of going to Orbis to train on the little Kitties there. She hears that they have been dropping quite a few scrolls lately and Nami decides to go try her luck there. Nami quickly puts on her bag, and uses a speed pill so she can run towards Ellinia Station faster.
As Nami arrived she handed the Ticketting Usher 5000 mesos and the Usher handed her back a ticket to Orbis. She quickly takes the ticket and runs toward the ship.
“Last call for people going to Orbis.” The captain said.
“Waitttttttttt” Nami yelled.
Nami hands the captain a ticket and the captain greeted her and welcomed her on board to the ship to Orbis. Nami gets on the ship and goes to the nose of the boat. She takes in the view of the Sun setting below the clouds, the smell of fresh air made her smile. She never remembered the last time she had such innocent pleasure. Just as Nami was about to open her red eyes to see the Sunset again, when a big shadow blocked her view.
“He-” Nami began.
But as she saw the big pirate boat close in on her, the words died in her throat as she saw people scrambling to get to the bottom deck.
“Hey! You little rogue! Get down to the bottom deck now!” the captain yelled.
Nami nodded her head, too speechless to conjure up the words that were in her mind. She begins to run to the door when all of a sudden it closes and locks her out. Now that Nami was locked out with 2 Crimson Balrogs surronding her, she was scared that her life might actually end! She runs to the nearest cargo boxes that she sees. But Nami wasn’t quick enough, a gigantic claw came crashing down on the cargo box sending Nami to land on her bum. Nami gets up and runs towards another cargo box. Then the Crimson Balrog claws that cargo box down as well.
Nami begins to panic as she looks for another hiding spot. Then out of nowhere a stranger appears and starts throwing stars at the 2 Crimson Balrogs. Annoyed, the Crimson Balrogs turn their attention towards the annoying stranger that’s keeping them from devouring Nami.
“Hurry, run down to the bottom deck.” shouted the stranger.
“I can’t, the door is locked!” Nami shouted back.
The stranger lets out a sigh, but not long enough before the Crimson Balrogs starts to claw at the stranger. The stranger, with amazing aim and agility, starts jumping over the Crimson Balrogs and starts throwing more stars at it. The stars where very sharp and had a red rag hanging out of the other end. Nami realizes that the stranger was using Steelys. Nami snaps her eyes back to the fight. The stranger takes out the first Crimson Balrog with minor injuries. Just as the stranger was about to turn around, the other Crimson Balrog scrapes the back of the stranger. But the stranger continues to fight to save herself and Nami from being eaten.
Then when it seems like the stranger was about to lose, the stranger quickly summoned a shadow partner and finishes the Crimson Balrog off. Nami quickly ran to the stranger’s side.
“Are you ok?” asked Nami.
The stranger takes out a Frozen Pop and ate it. Nami then cradles the stranger’s head with her arms.
“Course I’m okay, you?” asked the stranger.
“I’m alright, thanks to you” Nami repiled.
Nami pushed the Red Pireta Hat back from the stranger’s forehead, to see that it was a lady that saved her life. Nami goes to the door and pounds it till the captain opened it up for her.
“Hurry, I have an injured Hermit.” Nami said.
Nami carried the stranger to the bottom deck and laid her on top of a bunch of beach towels.
“I didn’t get your name.” Nami said.
“My name’s Suki. Your’s?” Suki asked.
“I’m Nami, sorry I caused so much problems for you.” Nami apologized.
“No need, I was planning on taking them down anyways.” Sukie said with a tender smile.
Nami spent the entire journey talking to Suki and asking her the adventures she had. They shared laughters, smiles and gifts with each other. When the ride was over, Suki got up and Nami stood up as well. The exited the deck and was in a beautiful and pure place called Orbis. Suki scribbled something on a paper and handed it to Nami.
“Here’s my channel, add me to your communicator.” Suki said.
Nami smiled and said “Thanks, I’m greatful that you saved me, Suki.”
“No problem, I have to go now, bye.” Suki said.
Then Suki used Flash Jump and disappeared within seconds.Nami hastes herself and continues walking towards the Orbis training ground. There were quite a few high levels that were resting. Some of them gave Nami dirty looks, but Nami ignored them and continues walking towards the training grounds. Then out of nowhere a warrior and a hunter walks up behind her and starts poking her with their weapons.
“May you please stop bothering me?” Nami asked.
“Heh, look what we have her Johnny, it’s another one of them thieves.” The warrior teased.
“Yeah, I bet she’s looking for some trouble, aren’t ya cutie?” asked Johnny as he lifts her chin up.
Nami shrugs off his touch, and continues walking towards the training ground. But they wouldn’t stop teasing Nami. At this time Nami became very irratated with them.
“Leave me alone!” Nami said aloud.
“Hahaha, make me you lil brat!” Johnny said as he pushes Nami onto a bench.
They stomped their feet on the bench and gave her a dirty grin. Nami closes her eyes and said she’s just having a bad dream. But when she opens her eyes, she still sees them. She hastes herself and tried to run. But Johnny puts his bow over her and pulls Nami close to his chest. He begins to play with her strawberry fragrance hair. Nami tries to escape but they were too strong for her.
“Let her go now Johnny.” A voice from behind them said.
They all turned towards the voice, as soon as Nami recognizes that face. She struggles free and runs toward Kuroki. She hugged Kuroki around the waist, and Kuroki puts a comforting hand on her shoulders and holds her close. Johnny and the warrior grinned.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Kuroki, our previous leader of the clan.” Johnny stated.
“That was previous, Johnny, now leave here before you stir up trouble.” Kuroki said.
Irritated, that Kuroki would have such guts to tell him to leave, ticked off Johnny.
“Hmph.” Johnny said as he raised his bow and aimed for Kuroki’s chest.
Nami panicked as she looked up at Kuroki. He gave her a reassurring squeeze on her shoulders and nudged her behind him. Kuroki takes out his Vaulter 2000 and aims it at Johnny. Johnny fires and Kuroki moved aside and pulls Nami with him. Nami lands on her bum with a audiable thud. Johnny gives her a wicked smile and aims at her chest. Johnny fires the arrow and turns away so he couldn’t hear Nami’s cry. But when he heard a grunt instead of a cry, he turns around and sees that Kuroki blocked that shot with his upper arm. Johnny lets out a furious sigh and aims at Kuroki’s head. But before Johnny could fire, Kuroki shoots at Johnny’s shoulder with perfect aim. Johnny staggers backwards as the warrior helped Johnny to get a stable grip. Johnny picked up his bow.
“You won’t see the last of me.” Johnny yelled and ran away with the warrior towards.
Kuroki collapses but Nami ran and broke his fall in time. Kuroki drapes an arm over her shoulders to support himself. He gives her a tender smile and Nami smiled back.
“Hmm, I didn’t expect you to be here.” Kuroki said.
“I’m unpredictable.” Nami said with confidence.
Kuroki chuckled. Then Nami begins to move him to a near-by bench. They sat side by side, watching the last of the sunset. When the sky was purple and cooler, Kuroki turned towards Nami. He looks down on her face. Her cheeks were high and slightly red, her long eye lashes fluttered open as he caressed her cheek. She focused on his for a few seconds then looks around to see that she was in his arms.
They stare at each other, with such intensity. Nami remembered looking into his hazel eyes before his fingers caressed her face and as he lowered his mouth to hers.
To Be Continued…o.O
hate to say this. . . but, it gets a lil redundant whenever you mention Nami’s name more than one time in a paragraph
well, i can’t always say she as well can i? Nami sounds more, professional >.> ill keep it in mind though, thanks
sry again about the whole critiquing thing, but about the following:
Nami panicked as she looked up at Kuroki. He gave her a reassurring squeeze on her shoulders and nudged her behind him. Kuroki takes out his Vaulter 2000 and aims it at Johnny. in the first sentenced u spoke in past tense but then you started speaking in present tense. then at the last sentence you went back to past. Try to keep the same tense throughout
anyway, destroy the redundance and keep the tense the same. another thing would be to make sure that this doesnt become a typical love story. I hate typical love stories. Especially Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare was a great writer, but R and J sucked like mad
alrite alrite buddy thanks for your help -_- il try to make it ‘suit’ you
well, you dont need to listen to my last paragraph in my last post. that was just opinionated.
hey, it’s actually quite nice. as i said. it’s wayyyy better than my “who won’t you understand me pt 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 blogs”
lol, well all i got to say is keep going. can’t wait till the next blog comes out. = D
