Whee~ Hectic Day

I was mapling a lot today. Training my character, training my friend’s character, slacking around, and doing completely random things.

Shike wanted to start a bandit, so I gave him RandomGal05 (lvl 18 Dagger Rogue) and some pots to go train. Basically, I hung around at Pig Beach and raged him whenever necessary. Pretty boring, but its a nice break from grinding. He made it to lvl 19 after a couple of hours. read more

Random Blog (1)

Decided to write a blog on the spur of the moment. Blame it on the caffeine rush.

Er…so…

This is harder then I thought.

Oh yeah, I leveled to 62. Like, 8 more levels to 3rd job. Considering that my training pace has dropped to 7.5% per hour…

Buddies said: “Dude, you suck.”

Using quick calculations, it’d take me 13.33 hours to level up once. 8 levels will require 106.66 hours. Wow, joy. read more

MapleSEA update

Patch Version .35 is out. All MapleSEAers should go download it now.
Seems pretty cool, with the new area Zipangu Town released and all. I am pretty excited about it myself.

MapleSEA Website said: “1. Grand opening of Zipangu town! 2. A Whole New Gachapon! try your luck for the latest Dragon and Maple series weapons. 3. New fortune teller in all major towns! 4. Check out the latest Cosmestic contact lenses in the Cash Shop! 5. Maple TV Ready! 6. Fixing of reported bugs”

Unfortunately, I can’t go and play Maple Story right now.

There was something wrong with my Game Guard, so I had to uninstall the whole client. With the number of people downloading patches, I wouldn’t be able to download the new client due to server lag until prehaps tomorrow (it’s a persistant problem for a laptop user like myself). I would try to blog about my experiences regarding Zipangu Town hopefully by then. read more

Red Whip Hunting Adventure!

As my current training spot is located at the very end of the dungeon, I came up with the idea of getting a red whip to reduce travelling time.

Guild Boss said: “That’s the lamest idea I’d ever heard.”

But whatever. I ain’t very rich, so I decided to hunt it from wraiths. A short trip was made to Kerning City, and after various detours to do completely random stuffs, I got my way down to the wraith map in the train station. read more

Zomg a talking Bunnie!

This is just gonna be a short blog since I am feeling lazy

Today, I just lazed around at Henesys Hunting Ground 1. Couldn’t bring myself to train, and wouldn’t be able to anyway cus of the uber lag. So I just sat there and trained my bunnie. Yeah, its a bloody waste of time.

Anyways, a couple of my friends popped over to see me
See Pic 1 for a hot kissing scene between one of my friends and I. Then I tried summoning aliens with a sack, but only one popped out. Nobody died. I feel cheated. read more

Jr Boogie – An Analysis

I was training today at Wild Cargo Area when I suddenly d/ced after 6%. Since it is troublesome to restart Maple Story due to the uber lag, I decided to start work on my blogging after a couple days of absence.

The Monster: An Introduction

Jr Boogie, in short, is nothing more than a pest. Sure, 150 exp for 1500 hp is an extremely good ratio (even when compared to Coolie Zombie, which has a ratio of 190 exp to 4500 hp). However, Jr Boogies do not appear in large spawns at all. Usually, you would just find a solitary Jr Boogie among large spawns of much weaker monsters. As such, it is not feasible to use Jr Boogie as a monster to train on. read more

Party Quests – An Analysis

I thought I should share some of my past experiences doing Party Quests here. This is NOT a guide.

Kerning Party Quest (lvl 21~30)

For starters, nobody below lvl 23 should attempt it. Yes, I know mages are strong enough at lvl 21, but your accuracy is still too low such that there will be an occasional miss on ligators. At lvl 21, mages would not have magic guard either, so dying is quite possible. All other classes will be suffering from low/ unstable damages too, so its still quite risky. read more

Hi All, I’m New (Ya rly)

After posting 10 blogs, it came to my attention that I have forgotten to do the customary self-introduction to MMO Tales.

So I figured, why not do it now? Seeing as these kinds of blogs tend to garner a lot of attention, it may even act as my publicity stunt! So, yeah, here it is.

Map Ownership Issues?

Whenever I play on my warrior, I always encounter the problem of having to find a map to train in. About 50% (this varies from 0% to 100% depending on the time I play) of the time I enter a gollem temple map, I always encounter an instant “cc pls” despite there being only one lone person training inside. Note that gollem temple maps are quite big and can hold 2-3 people comfortably, but some people can be quite selfish in the hogging it all to themselves. read more
