Kogepan, Because It’s Scorched

With that random title out of the way, let me give my fan(s) an update on how I’ve been living:

I still play Maple here and there. Now that I’ve leveled up, I should be returning full time…or not. I don’t know how you guys do it, but I just can’t bother myself to stay on Maple for a long period of time. Also, while hunting at Wraiths, I happened to come across two drops at once! A Red Whip and a 3 LUK Flame Golden Circlet. I’m sure those will go for some good money. I also happened to open up my own store, Tenan’s Undead Shoppe. Hopefully, it’ll be a source of money for me. read more

Sometimes…

Today, as in Monday morning, I hit level 59. Now, I know that it’s cause for celebration and all, but then it sunk in:

11 levels away.

To be honest, I’m filled with a bit of excitement, as I can’t wait for Priesthood and the prospect of fighting even more diverse monsters than before and Holy Symbol and Shining Ray and all the other Priest skills that make being a Priest so wonderful. read more

Being A Cleric: A Guide

Well, that wasn’t going to be the title, but space limitations are the death of us all. The title was going to be…”Being A Cleric: A Guide For The Starting Healer”. Anyway, aside from that, some people have come to question me about making a Cleric Guide and me, being at level 50, should know something, right? Don’t answer that, for it is rhetorical. read more

Maple’s Anniversary!

Today, when I woke up, seeing as nighttime had finally come, I saw that today, indeed was the beginning of the world’s Maple Anniversary; a chance to get stylish hats from the guardians as well as a myriad of weapons made just for this event. The only truly scary thing is that somehow, the cakes that we’ve been eating for months have somehow taken form and decided to fight back. read more

Scams: How To Recover After The Fall

The world is an interesting one. In it are those who diligently fight the monsters, those who provide a service, and those who make no effort or resort to trickery to get by. Throughout the world, we call them ‘scammers’, those who making a living by perfecting this art. When a person gets scammed, whether it be from hard-earned items or mesos or even their ‘soul’, it leaves quite the impact when the person comes to their senses. The first thing that is thought of after the initial shock is “How could this have happened to me?”. read more

Malady Hunting

Come close, fellow Maplers and I shall tell you a tale, one full of adventure and excitement, one that involves hunting the “Evil Witch of the East” as I’d like to call her. Here is my tale:

One day, while at Lith Harbor, I stumbled upon Jane, the kind woman in a bunny outfit who I had met many seasons ago, greeted me with a smile. She proclaimed that since she wasn’t able to leave the watch of her father, she was going to become an alchemist. Naturally, I inquired of her on what that was. She explained that alchemists were able to take something simple and make it into something wondrous. She said that if I got her Medicine with Weird Vibes, the frog of Malady and a Pure Water, she’d give me the end result. read more

An Introduction

Hello to everyone here. This is Tenan of Bera. I am a Cleric, but not the average, run-of-the-mill Cleric. What makes me different from most other Clerics is that I prefer to accomplish things with individual effort, if you will. Now, this isn’t to say that I hate parties or anything of the sort; in fact, I have in my mind several memorable parties, which I will share with you in time. However, I am adamant in my decision to NOT get Bless, since in my 50 levels of partying, I’ve only partied with one Warrior, well, three in fact, but those parties weren’t consistant. And, then that leads to my view on why is it that I should help out Warriors with such a skill when it’s been mages or the other players with ranged attacks helping them with quests and getting the ever-annoying Jr. Necki Skins. read more
