Much like the blogs before this one, I’m going to comment about being nice, and getting rewarded for it. Ladies and gentlemen, fellow Maplers alike, may I introduce to you:
I was never really a big fan of Valentine’s Day. The whole concept of shelling out a lot of money for something for significant other simply for the fact that if you didn’t, you’d appear to be a jerk; didn’t really appeal to me too much. This holiday is supposed to be a celebration of love, but it seems that that is farther from the truth nowadays. Well, at least in Maple, I don’t have to worry about that too much. 😀

This one’s about what the title says, and lemme tell you something, good things just keep happening to me in this game, and I don’t know why. O.O It’s quite strange why luck is falling in my direction, but it is.

I don’t normally do too many MMO blogs, because I’m not really that into the community yet, but the one’s I’ve done so far have gotten positive results, well, most of them. *nods* I think that’s because I’m one of those people that blog daily (myspace.com/drak0), regardless of what the topic. I can’t really do that here, but you kind of need a topic, I guess, so I pick Maple Story, the game that’s corrupting my life as we speak. 😀
It all started yesterday, when I was browsing the mmotales blogs. I came upon this one about snowboards that I vaguely remember what about, but I commented, and I noticed that this guy, Rokui was offering a free blood snowboard on Broa. I didn’t think people even played on my server, let alone was offering free stuff on it. So, not really expecting too much, I messaged him all beggar like.
Some people know how to take them, others really don’t. I try and be a good person when people want to help me, and just like those people who help me, I try and help other people as well. Unforunately for me, people aren’t as nice to me when I try and help.
Today I was working on the sauna robe quest while at college on one of my breaks. For this, I needed to get some pig heads. Fine, not really a big deal, I’m level 32, I can get 4 relatively easy, right? Not really. I started at it for a bit, and a level 18 mage added me to her party. I figure, you know, I can be nice about it, and help until I have what I need. So she invites someone else, and they just mooch on a rope. >.< Some people just piss me off.
When I would actually shell out for Nexon points. I know, I know, hard to believe that I’d be willing to turn a free game, into one I spent money on, but I felt that this time, it was worth it.
I guarantee all who decide to read this, didn’t read the preceding blog about this topic, but I decided to shell out money, and fix the abnormally horrible stats on my Cleric on Broa. They still aren’t fully fixed yet, but I’m getting there.
So, way back in the long long ago, I started playing Maple, and I didn’t really know how to make a good character. Being the dumb@$$ I was back then, I totally misallocated my stats to the point where it would cost 75 bucks to fix them, not counting ‘k’ skills. (Mage by the way.)
Now I just keep him at level 30, pqing to all ends by dying and losing exp when I get up there, but in reality, this can only suffice for so long. I wanna actually use him as a Cleric, but he’s way too weak to be decent… we’re talkin’ like, 3 levels weaker than other level 30 mages, at least. I did make him the guild master when I got a guild, not having the time to make another character.
I guess this one is related to Maple Story; in the sense that I should be playing more often, but unforunately things get in the way… which really pisses me off. -_-
I don’t know, it seems to me like life always has this ‘way’ to make things confusing concerning priorities, and what should be done first, etc, etc. A little background first though; I’m a freshman slacker college student who works part time. Yeah, a guy in college who plays Maple, hard to beleive, I know. D:
