The Karma System

Hey prospective readers, this is my chance to try and pull you into actually reading what I have to say here. Uh…. anal monkey buttsecks. Sorry, just haven’t said that in a while. 😀

Much like the blogs before this one, I’m going to comment about being nice, and getting rewarded for it. Ladies and gentlemen, fellow Maplers alike, may I introduce to you:

The Karma System

It’s quite simple really. Well, simple if you’ve paid any attention in history at one point or another. Karma is the idea that good actions will produce good results, and bad actions will have bad things happen to you. Say for example you hack? You’ll eventually get banned. Not that hard… but unfortunately, that’s all people really do. Nice people are a rarity, but I’ve managed to find a few in my day. Rokui, you’re top of my list for the Karma System. Anyways, I say this, because I was helping some girl get lupin’s bananas yesterday, and naturally, because I’m that unlucky, A snowball drops, and she scoops it up, not knowing what it is, nor even asking me if I had the rights to it. >.< I let her keep it, because I wasn’t in the mood to fight over a drop. But anyways, this act of kindness on my part soon lead to me finishing the 999 curse eye quest, and getting a scroll for wand attack. 😀 Sold the bastich for 1.5 mil on basil, and I’m sitting at 7.7 mil-ish.

Problem with basil though is I can’t find the guy who’s supposed to sell me the Black Bandana. I’ve got another auction I have to finish too, but that person is also not online. I really don’t care about the second one… I just want the freakin’ black headgear! T.T

Well, today I signed on and did my basil stuff, except for the last two cases, and I was at like… 88%. Yeah, I was too tired to finish leveling last night, so I figured I’d leave it for today at school. And that’s exactly what I did. Right after my first class, boom. 35! -screenshot- In fact, I was almost late to my next class because of it. 😀

So, if you take only one thing from my story, remember this:
Everything is connected with everything else in one way or another. Niceness will grant you good things, and being an assjack, will probably get you bad misfortune.

Edit 1: While, yes, I cannot fully take credit for this system, that does not mean I will not endorse it.
Edit 2: I’m also referring to a more… instantaneous version of the after life theory, I like to call insta-karma. Guess I should’ve name the title that instead. *sweat*
Edit 3: Front page ftw!

  1. Karma was originally introduced by the Indians. . . [EDIT: Maya, and Aztec mainly, not sure which, it’s really vague in my head]

    At least give credits. . . 😛

    Also, Karma corresponds in the after-life. O_O;;

    Which is why even if you die, and you did good deeds,
    you shan’t worry about dying! :O

  2. o_o! I’m totally on top of your list. Kekeke. >_>
    Let’s keep it that way. >:3

    Congratulations on level 35. 😀

  3. Well, I spent an entire day KSing people and trying to scam people in the FM, and when I used 4 10% claw attacks on my dark slain, 3 worked. Explain that, pl0x.

  4. Muahahaha I had you in a corner. 😛

    I recently studied karma a while ago. . .

    Anyways. 😀

    Yeah, my brother died in a car crash when he just had a scholarship from PRINCETON.
    My parents really said: what.

  6. Karma does work for me. ^__^ I dropped a sacrifice in the form of 1k and a card set in front of the MM house and when it died, it dropped 3 60% scrolls! Then again, I got KSed and didn’t get the drops, so maybe it doesn’t work. . .

    Happy Mapling. x_X

    Indians -> India.
    Maya/Aztecs -> Central America.

    Which one is it? o.o

  10. I. Love. Karma.

    It loves me too. I try to be nice more often so that my karma is good. But as long as stupid people exist, and as long as I am here to get angry at them, I will have bad karma :<
