Episode 14 A Twisted Soul
The smoke clears at last, and the lone figure of Shuriken remains standing. Ryuu, Kunai, Ayame, and Ivy all gasp aloud as one as he remains standing, unmoving, a grim figure of darkness and malevolence.
How the hell Ryuu mutters.
The lines of black fire written on Shurikens skin melt and dissolve, forming into a pool of inky, fibrous blackness. They wrap themselves around Shurikens hands, wrists, arms, chest, legs, his entire body. Shuriken clenches his fist, feeling the strength of it.
Episode 13 The Shuriken of Revenge
[Ransom Letter]
I have taken your friend hostage. If you wish to see her again, meet me in the center of town in front of the tallest tower. I will be waiting there.
Ryuu crumples the letter and hurls it to the floor, watching it float about the waterlogged ground before the words melt away, victim to the heavy torrents flowing down from above.
Episode 12 A Land Drenched in Darkness
Five Minutes Ago ~
[Just before the rain breaks out]
Shuriken sits atop a large branch jutting out of a gigantic oak tree. The branch overlooks the Sashas house and the lonely, silent boulevard leading out of it. Off in the distance the wall of skyscrapers and busy traffic drones in a mundane, insignificant growl.
Episode 11 The Information Hunters
Ivy yawns sleepily as she stirs and wakes, stretching rather exaggeratedly. As a result, her fist is sent flying straight into Kunais face.
Kunai jumps up in a dazed surprise, glancing around stupidly for the source of the blow. He turns to Ivy as she gasps in surprise, crying out her apologies in a shrill voice.
Ryuu and Ayame both awake from their slumbers as well, their hair ruffled and irritable looks on their faces. Ryuu grumbles in a sleepy, yet incensed voice. What the deal here?! Trying to get some sleep
Episode 10 Skylark City
Kunai peers curiously around the brightly lit streets and neatly paved roads of Skylark City as the group walks down a sidewalk bathed in the artificial light of the city living in constant darkness.
A bus loaded with commuters rolls noisily by, while the sidewalks themselves remain clogged with pedestrians and busy-looking people hurrying about, now that the threat of the Dragon Paradox has been lifted.
Episode 9 Three Dragons in One Night
The broken corpse of the Dragon Paradox lies in a tumble of jagged rocks on a narrow ledge at the crest of a large down, overlooking the same river running through where Kunais battle against Azuria had taken place. Around this ledge lie the forms of many other hills, running in a disorderly fashion. Jagged peaks rise up against the blank horizon blanketed with darkness.
Episode 8 The Dagger and Claw Clash!
Ryuu leads the way, as Ayame, Ivy, and Sasha follow behind, leaping over trees and running over the mountainous terrain outside Skylark City.
Ayame turns to Ryuu as they run, her eyes straining ahead where the large shadow of the Dragon Paradox sits in the sky. Ryuu are you sure Kunai will be all right facing Azuria himself?

Episode 7 A Past That Had Been Shrouded In Mist
The soft light of a morning sun lays in dappled disarray among the humble wooden structures of many cabins built along a thin, winding river running out of the deep mountain valleys. The setting is another calm, peaceful day in a small village not far from the outskirts of Perion.
Episode 6 A Crash Course in Souls!
Ryuu nods his head contemplatively, muttering to himself. Soul Eaters? What a strange name why are they called the Soul Eaters?
Why do you ask? Sasha inquires.
Because Ryuu growls under his breath, That man, Ezekiel, is clearly a Hybrid, but he has only one pupil in his right eye.
Kunai, Ayame, and Ivy each express their surprise with a sharp intake of breath. Kunai stares bewilderedly from both Ryuu to Sasha. Wait, wait a minute how can you be a Hybrid but not have been attacked by a Paradox?
