Well I used to be the first to say that assassins were cheap and easy characters that only could KS. Now an experence (about a week ago)in Maple Story has changed my view. I was at copper drakes, and a level 50 assassin came in to hunt also. I was more than happy to give him 3/4 of the map because all I needed was a little platform to train on, so I just stayed there. Then the unimaginable happened. He KSed one of the drakes. I wasn’t really mad untill it dropped a maple kandayo. He jumped up on to the platform and headed towards it (T_T). But he walked right by, said, “sorry it didn’t mean to ks”. He jumped back down after sending a party invite. I picked up the maple kandayo, and got aabout 10% more EXP than I normaly would because of this assassin. At that moment I realized that 1000 sins out of the 100000 there are KS at are just plain, (Insert VERY Profane word here)s. Sure this is probably the only sin who would LEAVE a maple weapon for me to pick up, and I know all sins have KSed at least once, but I mean, who really hasn’t? read more

Bah. I wonder if I should really keep trying, or encouraging my friends to keep trying with guilds.

We’ve all had bad experiences with guilds we have joined. My latest goes something like this…
I joined the guild TeKniQ, in khaini a week or so ago. I was one of the original six members when the guild was being put together, and I right away started to make a few friends. So things with the guild were going fine, it was growing at a good pace, and everyone was getting along, to my knowledge. read more

I hit level forty the other day and I’ve been looking for a challenge as it’s getting a little boring just fighting and fighting and fighting with no real changes so I figured I’d do something crazy and solo Mushmom.

I checked channel after channel in the beginning looking for an empty spot and eventually found one. While I was waiting there I was killing iron pigs over and over again. People would suddenly show up and some would leave without a problem but some would wait until they saw that I was still playing before they left. read more

When the guild system first came out, I thought it was a fantastically innovative way for Maple to siphon away extra mesos from the whole Maple economy. Just look at the cost to set up a guild: they come in millions. Of course, it might just be a gripe coming from a player who just Cannot save enough mesos, but oh well. One day, when i was around level 17 i was training at the hill of henesys….um…east XD,i was looking for a party to train with, and then i saw this one girl and said if i could party with her. She said yea, when my friend comes. So i waited a few mins. Then i saw this person (it was preety empty) i thought he was her friend, so i asked that. And it turns out he wasn’t lol. We started talking and trained together. About 5 mins later the girl’s friend came and they went off to train someplace.
Now we’re still friends XD and both well…he’s level 59 and im level 46 o.o; lol i level reallllly slow >.>
