Tales Of The Twins: Log Two

A famous white light with a bluish tinge enveloped the two, sending them to another dimension…

“W-where am I…?”

Zerofox looked around from the rooftop he had landed on. From what he could see, it was an urban town, with many buildings, brick walls, and three sewer drains. Graffitied posters were plastered to the walls. A pharmacy was located at the edge of town. A hair salon and a bar were next to it. Below him, a girl with pigtails stood beside the hair salon, and a girl with exaggerated, long hair and skimpy clothing was posted by the sewer drains. An Internet Cafe sign jutted out from the side of the building he was on. The town also had a beautiful sunset.

“Sunsets…internet cafes…hey wait a minute…” Zerofox craned his neck to have a better look at the girl. “That’s Lakelis, and that’s Nella…hey, there’s JM!”

It dawned on him.

“I’m in the Maple World!”

“…”

“AWESOME!”

He brushed the two long bangs from his face. “Hey, wait a minute…I never had long bangs…and they weren’t orange eith-“

Two long, orange bangs covered his face. He looked behind him. An orange ponytail sprawled out on his blue Icarus Cape. He brought his hand in front of his face. A Dark Wolfskin gloved it. He felt his ear, and dangling from it was a silver, Single Earring. He stood up and brushed himself off. The material of the Black Pao cloth felt cool and cottony. He looked down. Two Black Snowshoes encased his feet. He reached for his head and tightened the knot of his Pickpocket Pilfer. His polished Maple Claw shone. The orange and red hues of the sunset touched his scarred face, which resembled a Z with a stroke through the middle. A purr could be heard from the White Tiger named Tora sitting beside him; washing himself. His golden eyes gleamed.

He was Kogekisha.

“HEY!”

He turned around. A spearman wearing a Herculean Crown, a Gold Dragon, White Jangoon Pants, Red Snowshoes, a Single Earring, White Fingerless Gloves, and an Icarus Cape approched him. A Maple Impaler was clutched in his hands. A White Tiger named Sabu trotted at his side. He had long, black Terius hair, an X shaped scar that shared his eye and nose, and had sapphire blue eyes.

“[_____]! You’re Noryoku!”
“[_______]! You’re Kogekisha!”

“It appears as although we can’t use our real names,” said Noryoku. “I suppose we’re Koge and Nor then, like always,” Koge finished. Nor smiled, as they meandered around the town.

“Hey Koge, what’s that in your eye?”

Nor intently stared into the assassin’s soft, golden eyes. A silver desgin, an inari fox encircled with an okami, a godly wolf, outlined his right pupil. Noryoku curiously had the same design, in his left pupil.

“I overheard a Hunter and a Fighter say that there was a strange figure inside the Fusion bar,” Nor stated. “Maybe we can get some answers to both that article AND about our eyes.”

Koge remembered. The paper that contained strange broken code and rumours about glitches people have been facing in MapleStory. “What do they mean by strange, Nor?”

“I don’t know. They say he has a split personality. Supposedly, he’s some sort of experiment of Wizet’s. One that was a failure.”

“That could be the broken code I found…” thought Koge. “We need to go see this guy.” “Fast.”

  9. That would be Nor and I. Or Xwolf and I. Whichever name; they’re both the same. The quote was for AzNxKnife.

  11. No. We are twins. I am a twin. He is a twin. We’re each others’ twins. We’re REAL twins, not just in the story. The characters are real. Noryoku, Kogekisha, Zerofox, and Xwolf exist. The names however for Xwolf and Zerofox, are sadly something else. I wish my name was Zerofox.

  13. Yes, and that’s because it would most likely hit a conformist’s ears. Unfortunately, conformism is harder to battle than racism or discrimination. Those kinds of people only believe names should sound like ‘Bob’ or ‘Johnny’. But the more people got used to hearing unique names, the more unique names would be born.
