Hello guys again.This is the 2nd part of my blog, and I’m going to generally just talk about the comments.
Well…first up.The graphics.
Yes I know.The graphics isn’t that good.But hold on.It’s a browser game, not all full screen game like warcraft, maplestory etc.And you can’t expect it’s graphics to be ultra good right?Furthermore it’s a online browser game.
Next…who said runescape wasn’t gameplay-oriented?I believe that it is a game with substance.Well,as I said before…they really put alot of effort into updating the game frequently with useful updates.Not useless ones.And they have a variety of stuff.They have wilderness,dungeons,skills,quests,mini games etc.If you are bored of one thing,there is always something else for you to play on.
And to those who said after they play for a few seconds/minutes/hours/days,you have not seen all of what runescape has.Don’t judge a game mainly on its graphics,and on the first impression.Go ahead and explore more of it,and you will know what runescape has in store for you.
About it only updating frequently only for members…well I think they have enough stuff for free players.Every game need to make money too.If you are a mapler,even if you only buy one prepaid card per month,you still spend more than being a member for a month.
About it being boring during combat…well I wouldn’t like it be fighting by clicking or hitting the keyboard all the time too.What’s so fun about that.I prefer it being that your character will just fight when you attack the enemy while you chat with your friends.Dosen’t that make training more interesting and at the same time dosen’t slows down your training.In maple,when you are training you can’t chat with your friends.All you do is to just move around and attack continuously and chatting will slow down your training.I find it more boring.That’s why I decided to quit maple when I had my 3rd job and turned lv 71.
And please.Runescape dosen’t harm your brain.I played runescape last time for sheer entertainment when I was bored,but I didn’t let it take over my life.In fact,when I was playing runescape,my results actually improved.When I played maplestory,my results went own.This is my own perception,I mean no harm.This is just to those commentors in peoples blog who go “LOL look at what rs has done to this noob!” etc.These people are the most immature bunch of people I have ever seen.You all are no better.
I guess that’s about all I want to say.Flame me if you want,I will take it in stride.And maybe I will talk about it next time at another blog.If you all think I missed out something,feel free to comment.

Ok you basically cleared the problems of rs. I’m NOT flaming rs anymore but I wanna know if you can combat some other problems. I repeat, I am NOT flaming rs, just giving my thoughts.
1. You can’t leave rs for more than a minute cause of random events (this makes me unable to play it in school during lesson time)
2. Dying in my full gold-trimed rune armour makes me feel like my world has ended.
3. It is so hard to become a member- I can’t set up a paypal account and pay with my pocket money but I can buy a-cash without my mother’s acknowledgement. (I didn’t say that)
4. Teleporting and convenient travelling is so expensive for low-levelled players.
5. There are not a wide range of attacks for melee players.
Runescape is not HORRIBLE
but its bad
i remeber when i first started runescape (you had to be there)
i thought to myself: “sweet bad graphics! that means this game is all about gameplay”
but lo and behold: “bad gameplay too. . .”
its extremely annoying losing all but 3 items when you die
(the dumb move that saves 4 items doesn count because it sux so much)
ill stick to doing 1700dmg in maplestory
you stick to doing 14 dmg in runescape
that way everybody’s happy
waffle, don’t stick to doing 1700dmg on maple. Train your fighter to a cruz, THEN settle down with a sweet 20k. (ahh, satisfaction!)
ok ty devilrymage for giving yr opinions.and as for the damage, its just the numbers.runescape can x100 the damage if they want.its the same thing.its just that u like seeing large numbers, yep.and 20k damage, that takes alot of hard work, -.-
errm and i will address more problems next time, when i got the time.till then.
The combat is pretty boring in runescape. You attack monster hit for hit which makes you fall asleep after a few minutes. And like I have said before, if you are not a member, the game is really boring.
Jagex doesn’t ever update the non-member part of the game. They haven’t gotten a new quest since the game came out.
