I was frantic as I saw her lying down there covered in a pool of blood. I glared angrily at the hermit who threw the dagger, my blood boiling. I started to walk towards him and with all my power and casted the most powerful Shining Ray I ever casted. It hit him and he was flung backwards around 1 metre away. I was surprised to find that my Shining Ray did so much damage.

I turned my attention to my wife as I tried to heal her. I was glad to see that 5 of my Priests friends were online and I asked them to come to Orbis Tower level 1 ASAP. They turned up within a minute and we all joined hands in a circle and put my wife in the middle as we muttered some words and a flash of green covered us and I looked hopefully at my wife but she still was severely injured. I broke down in tears. One of my Priest friends said that there was one hope. We could try to cast Shining Ray in a different way to heal her.

I looked at him strangely and said that we could try. We all joined hands together and we casted Shining Ray and the symbol hovered above her and there was a big flash of blue light and there my wife was regaining consciousness. We hugged and she asked me what happened. I told her that one of the hermits had thrown a dagger at her that pierced her stomach. I thanked all my Priest friends and they all started to go on their way. I said that we had to postpone our trip to Aqua Road. She nodded but said nothing as she was still very weak.

As soon as we were outside of the tower. I held her hands and put two nearest town scrolls in front of us. I muttered the words written there and we were teleported to El Nath. I rented a room in Scadur’s house and found that it was covered in insects and mites. There were two beds in the room and I put her on the nicest bed. I held her hands and healed her again as my friend who was previously my master said that I had to heal her on regular basis.

At night, I was so irritated with the bugs that I snatched up my Kage and casted a quick Shining Ray to kill all the bugs. When I woke up the next morning, I tried to wake up my wife but she wouldn’t wake up. I panicked and called the Emergency Department in the Maple Hospital. We were rushed there and I kept healing her in the flying ambulance. When we arrived there, she was rushed into the ICU and there were nine Priests there trying to heal her with all their power. They were weaker than usual as 1 of them was on holiday.

I offered to join in as I was a Priest too. At last we kept spamming heal and used other protective spells in different ways like Bless and Holy Symbol to protect her. At last, the Priests say that she was in stable condition and that a Shining Ray had caused her lung problems. I told them that I was the one who casted a minor Shining Ray to kill the annoying insects. They gave me a warning and told me to be careful next time.
